So, recently I started putting work on one of the SNES carts I barely put any effort into until now, Illusion of Gaia, and so far, I like what I've played. The thing I think I enjoy the most is that you earn health/attack/defense upgrades by destroying every enemy in each part of the dungeon. Definitely more satisfying than just plain grinding.
And so far the first major boss is a pain in the ass.

I hate being the only one talking about classic gaming and game pick ups, but:
2 more carts bought today for the SNES.
Contra III U.N Squadron
Both 3.45 each.
However, they are both far from what could be considered "mint condition". Both have the initials "R R" etched on their front, and U.N Squadron has a massive crack on it's back. But both do work, and after a qindex scrub should be fine nontheless.

It's not exactly classic gaming but I figured this is the best place for it, this game and watch remake is available from Japan's club nintendo, they're lucky over there. For no real reason here's a picture I took of my gameboy micro.

It was good but I wish there was more to do and at times, gives philosophical messages for no reason.

All I have to say is that I freaking LOVE the Wii virtual console! Especially since my NES died on me a few years ago, the Wii virtual console has been totally awesome. And for once, you can actually save your progress on these old 8 bit games.
One thing I don't like about it as of now though. No Ducktales, Chip'n'Dale, Little Nemo, Tetris or Life Force? WTF?!

one more game to add to the NES collection.
Donkey Kong Jr.
Plays well, though the title screen seems to act up at times. other than that, it's a perfect port.
Counting everything at the moment not including the game genie or SGB, I have 306 8 and 16 bit games combined.

Added Tecmo Super Bowl to my SNES collection today. It's just as awesome as I remember it. It's just too bad the Patriots suck so much, but there's always Dallas.

Also, I've kinda been neglecting Gaia for the last day or so while working on other projects (Notably the last couple Tooncrap inductions), But unlike most RPGs I plan on getting this one finished.

I am real big into the emulation, much cheaper than buying each game and system and no hassle ;D
Although, that is a cheap way out; at least I can turn on a system and play Sonic, Contra, Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, yadda yadda yadda ;D
====================
ALTHOUGH! I am a big Sega Saturn fan, I have currently for the system.
---Complete in Case w/ Manual--- -Bug -WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game -Bust a Move -Fighters Megamix -Die Hard the Arcade Game (my most expensive Saturn game I paid for so far) -Shockwave Assault -Virtual On -Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 -Clockwork Knight 2
--Just the disc--- -Virtual Cop 1 -Doom -Nights -Area 51 -Virtua Fighter 1 and 2 -Daytona USA
Currently on the wish list: Revolution X, Virtua Cop 2, Clockwork Knight 1, Darius Gaiden, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Loaded, Duke Nukem, Tomb Raider, WWF In Your House.

Yeah I suppose that's too many to play completely. Like many football fans the world cup has convinced me to buy a new football game, unlike most I chose "Go! Go! Beckham!" for the GBA. Strangely it's not a football game but a platformer where you have to use the ball to collect things and kill enemies, despite how it sounds it's pretty good and not shovelware. I may as well post my list of GBA games: {Spoiler} Advance Wars Advance Wars 2 Drill Dozer Final Fantasy Tactics Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones F zero Maximum Velocity Go! Go! Beckham! Kuru Kuru Kurin (cart only) Super Mario Bros Super Mario 3 Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga Mario Golf Metroid: Fusion Sonic Advance 3 Warioland 4 (Japanese) Warioware Twisted Yoshi's island Zelda: LTtP Zelda: Minish Cap (cart only)
Plus a flash cart I use to play Mother 3.
