Well played, Miz. I for one can't wait to see where this goes.

From Lordsofpain.net:
JoMo's comments on Miz/Bryan:
On The Miz mentoring Daniel Bryan: "Yeah, when I saw that, I was at the ECW taping, and I actually saw Miz. He didn't know either until he saw the graphic on the screen. That he was the "Pro" and Bryan Danielson was the student. I walked by and said, "Pssh, he knows more than you do." And that's pretty much what everyone thinks. It's gonna be interesting and I think that's the point of it."
Morrison is friggin awesome!

This is pretty much what I thought when I first heard the Miz was the one mentoring him. Danielson has tons on in ring talent, sure - but Miz has star presence, and that's what goes further.

Interesting.
The Miz's comments on his blog have made the WWE front page...

"Just because this guy wrestled all around the the world and went up against some of the best wrestlers in the world, doesn't make him a star. Also, just because this guy can run circle around me when it comes to wrestling doesn't make him a star"
lmao.

"Sure, he may be really good at executing wrestling moves inside a wrestling ring, but does that make him a good wrestler?"

Also, whats the big deal? It's not like Danielson can't talk on the mic. If anyone ever seen any of his heel work on the mic from 2006, he's honestly ahead of most talkers already in the WWE.
Besides working the mic, what else does WWE expect a "Star" to be?
Miz simply cannot justify training Danielson. He needs to admit Danielson is too good for him. Now Punk on the other hand...

Or forget Austin and Jericho, have him and Dean Malenko fight to unify the WWF and WCW titles? Wrestling ability is not everything, and the indies are not the same as the WWE.

Sure seems like an angle, doesn't it?
Danielson is a more than capable talker and can get his personality over doing almost anything in the ring. He's absolutely scary intelligent: there's not a move he does in the ring that doesn't have a purpose, whether it be to serve the individual match's psychology, or to get some aspect of his persona over.

Being that WWE is the biggest and most successful wrestling company on the planet, I think one of their hottest stars at the moment would know what it takes to be a successful one.

Thank you. Just because he looks like the whitest guy you'll ever meet doesn't mean Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan lacks charisma. His heel work from 2006 is one of the best I've seen in recent times. It doesn't matter if he did it infront of 20 people or 2000 people. A quality promo is a quality promo.

Did I say any of those things should have happened? Anyway, Storm had more personality and character than your WWE Champion Sheamus currently does.

Even though everything was pretty much given to him, what's the hardest he's worked to get into the business? Tough Enough 3? lmao! Danielson has been working and perfecting his style for over 10 years now.

Seems like they're working the Smarks, I'm sure there's a mutual repsect towards each other and I bet they're both happy about the team up, The Miz gets heel heat on the internet, despite being an IWC favorite because he's taking the IWC god down a peg and Bryan gets more IWC love and a huge group of fans talking about him before he debuts and begging for him to be the one that takes Miz' US title.

you know i always love this argument to demean people like Danielson "oh sure hes critically acclaimed in front of one audience but that doesn't matter because he's not as popular as guys in wwe and doesn't know to draw the money like (wrestlers X) does"... well you know Dancing with the stars makes more money and gets better ratings then Lost so does that make it a better show? or hey maybe McDonalds execs should show up at all the local bar and grills and tell the cooks how to make a better burger?... because well McDonalds is the biggest burger company in the world, they draw the most money to the biggest audience... they HAVE to know how to cook the best burger and all the people who say that (Restaurant X) has the best burger is just an idiot and doesn't understand the business... because well they aren't in the burger business so they should just keep their mouths shut.
but yeah if it's just a work... awesome. a good feud to debut Daniel Bryans(going to take a while to adjust but oh well) and will be a chance for both guys to improve.
