"A Christmas Story" - I'd rather have to go to the gynecologist every day for the rest of my life than sit through that damn thing again. >.> I'm with you. Other than the gyno part. One of the most overrated movies in the history of cinema. I can't believe TBS plays it non-stop on Christmas eve. Then again, I also hate Blazing Saddles. So what do I know. And in the ultimate act of sacrilege, I found the Princess Bride to be extremely overrated.

Scarface. Boring, boring, boring, awesome final scene. I'll agree with this except for the final scene. The whole movie left me with a bad feeling, and the fact that people look back at it today and see a Cinderella story about an immigrant becoming a tycoon just makes me sad. Yes, those things happen in the movie, but they totally gloss over the part about evil feeding upon itself.

Scarface. Boring, boring, boring, awesome final scene. I agree 100 percent. I'll never understand the fascination with that movie.

I've never liked the Godfather trilogy, Scarface, any James Bond flick, or Citizen Kane.

To pile on I've never liked any of the Connery Bond films. I always prefered the Roger Moore ones.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:with some of the blandest characters I never cared for See, I had no problem at all sympathizing with Sally (Marilyn Burns' character). You don't really need to know much about her; just put yourself in her shoes. As for my own pick, the original Nightmare on Elm Street is an overrated and HORRIBLY dated movie that gets far more praise than it deserves from people looking at it through rose-colored glasses.

8 1/2. I should have loved it but I found it really boring. Maybe I need to watch it again.

Like Peter Griffin, I did not care for the Godfather. Just couldn't get into it. I agree about Scarface being a 1-scene movie. That final scene made the entire movie worth it.
