Best case scenario, she is deliberately making you jealous. On the other side, though, it could be her hinting she is not interested in you like that.
Or she could be a complete dunce. Don't forget, some women can be just as stupid as any many could possibly be.

I thought this one gal had put me in the friend zone until one night six months later when she told me something that I'd describe here, but youngsters often post here. Needless to say, it was one time I shut up and let it happen ... |

My favorite was a girl saying yes to going out. Then she avoided me for 2 weeks. I finally get a hold of her and she says "sorry, my boyfriend doesn't want me seeing other guys".
She was single when I asked her out... Yeah.

One of the most bizarre things I ever heard once was my friend and I were talking about meeting people. She happened to say she wanted to meet a guy but he had to be a player-type but he must be faithful to her. I said well, wouldn't you want a nice guy who wouldn't cheat on you? She said no, because she would cheat on him!
When I heard that it threw me for a loop. I was single at the time and clueless and all I could think of was - were all women like this?

I'm thinking that the girl I was referring too is actually just a really big ditz and that I'M going to have to be the one to make the first move before it's too late. For all I know, she really likes me but is too dense to realize that I do like her back.
Then again, do I really want to deal with a ditz? Gahhhh.
