After several Superstars have departed and showed up on TNA over the last year (Hogan, Flair, Hardy, etc.), the WWE has seen fit to constantly reedit the video and cover up their parts with other wrestlers. The latest is Warrior(  ) covering up Flair's part. I think it's time for WWE to rethink what they run in the beginning. I like the nostalgia of it, and thought it was cool for a good long while, but now, it's jarring seeing wrestlers shoehorned in. I love Ted DBiasi as much as the next guy, but to insinuate that he was as big of a part as Hogan is borderline ludicrous. And seeing some of the choices of modern day wrestlers in there (Kelly Kelly being in there, for starters), I think it's time that they go with something else. Thoughts? |

I actually agree with giving Warrior some respect, but i do think they need to stop being so petty when it comes to guys like Hogan.

Seriously, they should have just left it alone. So Hulk Hogan is on TNA, who gives a shit? When his career is over, he'll still be remembered far more for his WWF contributions than anything else.

I don't think they should get rid of it for the reason you described, since by that logic they may as well get rid of the theme song for each show.
I do, however, think they should drop it because it's annoying and slows everything down. It was kinda cool the first time they did it, but it's been years.

I have no problem with the openning video, its the raw rewind I have more of a problem, an utter waste of time that cuts into match time on nxt or smackdown

I just think it's awesome that once Hogan signed with TNA, "Hulkamania's running wild!" was replaced with "Everybody's got a price!"

The only change I dislike is how they replaced Hardy with Kofi in the intro, but that's only because it's anachronistic. They should have replaced Hardy with Edge spearing Hardy in midair from WM X-Seven.
