Scott Boras wants the Mets to put Oliver Perez on the DL, but Jeff Wilpon doesn't think that's appropriate.

After Roy Halladay's perfect game and the BS of Philadelphia getting three extra home games, anymore Phillie fans want to complain about Toronto ripping you guys off in that trade? Because you dont have a leg to stand on right now. If anything, Toronto should be complaining because you and Major League Baseball are ripping us off and until this is changed (which at this point wont happen), any wins you have against us will be tainted and should recieve an asterisk. How is anybody ripping any body off? What do trades have to do with tainting any thing?

How is anybody ripping any body off? What do trades have to do with tainting any thing? When the trade happened, we got several Philly fans saying they were ripped off because in their minds, they gave up too much to get Roy Halladay. Also, I am saying talking about tainted wins because..........Philadelphia is supposed to have three away games in Toronto, but Major League Baseball decided to move those games to Philadelphia yet still considers Toronto the home team. Yes, the Phillies will be getting three extra home games and the Toronto Blue Jays will be getting three less home games, despite what both MLB and the Phillies are saying. Hell, if Philadelphia wins any of those games.........I may just put Philly's overall record in asterisk. It is that bad.

Last year he was put on the DL for an "anxiety disorder". Two years ago he was sent down to the minors for sucking hard. I still shudder whenever I think about the Indians game where he was just atrocious.

Hell, if Philadelphia wins any of those games.........I may just put Philly's overall record in asterisk. It is that bad. Dude. Just calm down a bit. First, any trade, at the time, is pre-maturely criticized. The anger was more about the fact that we gave up what we probably would have had to in July to get Halladay, which then raised questions as to why we went and got Lee, only to then trade him for 50 cents on the dollar. In retrospect, it was a great trade for us. As to the whole series moving. I said it before and I'll say it now. I may not like Toronto, but I think that it's total crap that the series is being played in Philly. Now, it is under AL rules, so it's not completely unfair. But they should have moved it to a minor league park or possibly Syracuse or Buffalo, where it's close enough for Toronto fans to get to. I'm sure officially they'll asterisk both team's records because of it. But I don't think the games shouldn't count. Don't blame Philly for it. I doubt they went to the schedule makers and said "Hey, make sure that you schedule that Toronto series in Toronto during the huge summit so you'll have to move it here instead." It was MLB's fault for not paying attention to the rest of the world, then not having any kind of fall back plan (maybe finding three dates later in the year in which Philly and Toronto have three game series, and switching them around).

Two years ago he was sent down to the minors for sucking hard. I still shudder whenever I think about the Indians game where he was just atrocious. Willis is one of a number of MLB players who have struggled with anxiety disorders. Khalil Greene and Zack Greinke are two other players who have been put out of action on account of mental health. In 2006, Greinke's anxiety and depression landed him on the 60-day DL. In 2009, Greene twice was disabled because his mental health prevented him from playing. Also, according to a social anxiety disorder website, Reds 1B Joey Votto also had some lesser stress-related issues in 2009. A's pitcher Justin Duchscherer, likewise, has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety issues. Of course there also is the well-documented story of Jimmy Piersall. And surely, many others have never sought help for their problems. From the lower levels of play all the way up to the majors, it could easily feel with every pitch that a career is a moment away from collapsing, and the whole world is watching.

That's a wonderful thing.

John Lackey tonight: 4.2 IP, 9 H, 3 R (all earned), 1 BB, 3 K, 79 pitches (52 strikes)
When did Daisuke Matsuzaka gain so much weight and become Caucasian?
