The Rock - I met him years ago in 1998... I was at a Heat show (remember when these were live?) when I was sitting outside. According to what I read, they were going to start selling Survivor Series tickets (in Detroit that year) right after the show. While we were standing in line (Probably about 20-30 people in line) I started talking to someone about my age (14) who said that he saw wrestlers in the back. We decided to go check it out when we found one door. Looking into the window, we saw both Edge and Val Venis pass by, but we figured the door was locked. All of a sudden, The Rock came into the room next to the door to the outside with a camera crew and I tried the door and it opened. As we tried to get in, a bunch of security was holding us back as I was screaming "Rock! Rock! You're awesome!" He could've been a dick and told us to get lost, but he came over, shook both of our hands and said "Hey guys, sorry but we're trying to film in here." Obviously I was overcome by shock (biggest Rock mark ever) and agreed. Best moment of my life. (Just kidding, but it was amazing anyways)
Zach Gowen - Met him several years ago before his run in the 'E. He lives in the area and went to a local bar called the Magic Stick. My friend went well before I did and told me about a guy who was hitting on her that was missing a leg and told her to feel the fake leg. He told her he was a wrestler and that he was gonna get big. She blew him off over and over again. One night I decided to go with her and met him. Complete and utter dick, especially with phrases like "Your friend is so hot dude, I just want to stick my dick in her, you think I can?"... He started talking to us when she said she had to go to the bathroom and left me with him. We talked wrestling for a bit and he was pimping himself to be this superstar who was going to be huge. I laughed it off and walked away. A few weeks later, my friend calls me "GUESS WHO'S ON TV?!" And holy crap, the guy who I laughed off was on Smackdown. I still hate him.

I met Bret Hart at an autograph signing for his book a couple months after his career was ended by the concussion. I asked him how his head was doing, and he really wasn't interested in talking about his career being over. I can understand.
Also met Spike Dudley at a signing. Seems like a nice guy.
The only other wrestlers I've bumped into are Road Warrior Animal and "Skinner" Steve Keirn. Itonically, both of these guys were at a Perkins on different occasions.

Ken Doane (Kenny from spirit squad). He's funny as hell. I go to the OVW house shows here on the day of the PPVS since they show them on the big screen afterwards for free. When the show was done before the PPV he and I have gone out for a smoke several times. He seemed really excited any time I told him how awesome I thought he was out there 20 minutes earlier...as though he was flattered that someone would compliment him like that to his face. He didn't have the squad gimmick back then, he was just Ken Doane. The few times we were out there smoking he's told me several funny stories about random crap the OVW folks pulled on him, just a great guy period so I'm happy that he might be the one from the squad to get the big push.
Ariel (Shelly Martinez). Same deal as Ken Doane. I saw her several times while watching those house shows waiting for the PPVs. She didn't do the vampire gimmick then, her gimmick was "wear black thongs and fishnets and throw her hair around alot while being angry". She's nice but actually pretty shy when you talk to her. However, she let me have a picture taken with my face buried in her boobs...so she's not THAT shy. She's sticking her tongue out and giving the metalhead sign while I do so, it rocks. I helped her carry ring equipment out a few times while I was waiting for more beer to come in, heh. She signed a poster of her for me and signed it "Cle-Ho-Patra" since that was her WEW name. I told her that was the most badass wrestling name ever and to PLEASE sign it that way...she got a kick out of it and did just that.
Lashley: More OVW. He was Blaster Lashley. I only saw him once and he was part of a random 6 man tag back when I didn't really know who was who in OVW (I think it was my first show actually). There were free posters with the wrestlers pictures on them, so he signed it for me. I didn't really know what to say to him but he seemed nice enough.
Mickie James, Victoria, Trish, Maria, CM Punk, Chavo Guerrero: Well they were all at Victoria's "Fat Tony's" pizzeria which is only a couple of miles from where I live. There was a WWE house show that day and they showed up there afterwards to sign autographs. I got my picture taken with them (Got a cool picture of Victoria and I doing peace signs) and talked for a few moments. Line was long so I couldn't take too long. CM Punk was there behind the girls (with Maria) wearing a ROH hat and not really doing anything other than eating pizza. I smiled over at him and asked him "Are you better than me?" He says "Damn right" and shook my hand, that was cool.

Random question: Do you think that some of the heels are trying to preserve kayfabe, or are they just douchebags?

Random question: Do you think that some of the heels are trying to preserve kayfabe, or are they just douchebags? Besides the folks I mentioned in my post, I've briefly met a ton of the current contracted wrestlers while poking around at shows (Nothing worth mentioning event wise). They all acted politely to me personally, even Randy "Brown Bag" Orton. I constantly hear people on here say "so and so was an ass when I met them over at wherever" and funny enough it seems to be more directed at the faces than heels. I guess having more fans makes you that way...not surprising really.

I heard that Randy Orton once honked and cursed at a guy in a wheelchair after a show for not crossing the street fast enough.
Yeah, I'm not an Orton fan.

I met loads at a hotel last year in Birmingham, off the top of my head they were:
John Cena Edge Chris Benoit Kurt Angle Carlito Christian Booker T (with Sharmell) JBL Eddie Guerrero Chavo Guerrero Shelton Benjamin Matt Morgan Hardcore Holly Spike Dudley Tazz Scotty 2 Hotty Dean Malenko
The only ones that showed an ounce of decency were Cena, Edge, Chavo, Booker & Sharmell & Spike. JBL insulted a fan, the others just sneaked off and gave us evil looks.

I almost forgot - I met Jimmy Snuka in 2003 at an indy show signing autographs. He was a real jerk, acting like he didn't want to be there and wouldn't even acknowledge or respond to my questions. Not cool, bruddah.

I've met Greg Valetine, Cheif Jay Strongbow, Jake Roberts, Larry "The Axe" Hennig, Blackjack Lanza, Typhoon, Big Boss Man, The Bushwhackers, Nikolai Volkoff, George Napoliteano (althought not a wrestler), Blackjack Brown (see previous), Georgianne Markropoulos (see previous), Rick Bassman (kinda sorta see previous), Ahmed Johnson, Savio Vega, Steve Austin (post WCW, pre Stone Cold), Jim Ross, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, Jerry Lawler and last but not least Vince McMahon.
And to be honest, Vince was the coolest and most humble of all of them. I have alot of respect for him about that.

when I was a little guy I met "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. He was so nice to me and unlike his character my young mind just couldn't comprehend. It was a really cool experience but part of me wishes it never happened so I could of marked out longer.

I've met Chris Hero, Colt Cabana, Human Tornado, Jack Evans and Roderick Strong. All very nice guys. Hero and Cabana are hilarious.

Few more to add...
Sabu - I briefly met him back in June or July when ROH was here... This was on the cusp of ONS and his beginning involvement with the 'E, so it was pretty crazy to see him just watching a show. We were standing outside smoking when he bumped into me. I turned around and went "What the hell?!" He just looked at me and said "Sorry" and kept walking. I didn't even realize it was Sabu until somebody yelled it out and he did the finger point. Another friend of mine who was at this show actually sat next to him and called him "Babu". My friend said he looked pretty f***ed up and he bought Sabu a beer.
JBL, Farooq (DAMN!), and Rhyno - Again, years and years ago, when Rhino was out with his neck injury, they came to a benefit show for a local Fire station that was burnt down (the 'E was also in town that night). They did an autograph signing and it was pretty sweet. They all were really nice guys (and Farooq smelled remarkably well). I asked Rhino about the injury because he was still wearing the neck brace and he actually talked to me for a few seconds about it. I asked Farooq where his cigars were (back during the height of APA) and he said he had to leave them back at the hotel but he'd be having one later. I didn't really know what to say to Bradshaw, so I just said "I love you guys" and he responded back "You gettin' a little fruity on me?" with a big smile on his face. Really nice guys. Farooq also had a monster Rolex on, contrary to popular belief that he only got a huge framed picture of The Rock...

Sadly, I have never met anyone. But maybe it's better that way. How could I hate Cena if I were to find out that he was really a great guy?

Cena - very cool guy even though I wish he would disappear in kayfabe
HBK - friendly but didn't get a chance to talk to him
D-von - VERY nice guy
D-Lo - awesome person. He was my favorite out of all of them. He was so quick to laugh and make me feel comfortable in the two minutes I got to talk to him.
Tommy Dreamer - kind of a cocky prick but will give you the time of day at least
Nikolai Volkoff - Very nice guy. His accent is real

Both of my parents used to work at the airport so the last 2 times the WWE came to State College we got to meet some of the WWE guys.
Stone Cold- An all around nice guy. Even took a picture with me and my brother and signed it.
Ric Flair- My mom was intimidated by him but he was really nice and even gave some lady 6 free tickets to RAW that night. (It was in State College so there were probably a million seats left)
Al Snow- Again a really nice guy who signed an autograph for me and my brother.
Matt Hardy and Lita (Back when they were still together) Again both were really nice and signed some autographs.
Howard Finkel- A lot nicer then I thought he'd be. Signed an autograph an even introduced us to two guys we didn't know were wrestlers. He claimed they were gonna be big someday. All 3 gave us autographs.
Stacy Kiebler- The only person who didn't give us an autograph. She was wearing sunglasses and trying to keep a low profile. And don't get me wrong it wasn't like I was hounding everyone for autographs while they were eating or anything.
I didn't actually meet him but my friend's Dad works at one of the local hotels and said that when Maven checked in he made a pretty big deal about being with the WWE. But no one either knew who he was or wanted an autograph or anything.
