I just figured out what way they could do this, so everybody wins. After about 5 kickouts of Taker's finishers, Taker finally locks in Hells Gate but there's a catch, HBK reverses it into a pin, Taker's shoulders are down and but during the 3 count, HBK taps. Both guys win and nobody technically loses.
HBK doesn't retire and The Undertaker's streak doesn't end. HBK can talk about how he broke the streak but in the end, it was a draw. Thoughts?

I really think HBK is gonna pass out in the hell's gate without tapping so Undertaker can keep the streak, and they can work around the retirement angle after a few months by saying HBK never really lossed

They'll get around it by the fact that it's a wrestling retirement - no one buys into the things.

No way does this match end in a draw. They have too much invested in it.

No way does this match end in a draw. They have too much invested in it. Why? A draw is good on both accounts. WE decide if the Streak was broken or not, cause of the double tap/pin. It's like saying "No way will Ric Flair wrestle again, they put too much time into this." And look what happened.

Shawn Michaels didn't even get to break it, but the streak is over.

If they're so afraid of not picking a winner, why book the match anyway? Either the streak ends or HBK "retires". There won't be a draw, there shouldn't be a draw.

The Undertaker never lost at Wrestlemania, that's what it's all about! We have the option of saying if he lost or if he won. Neither guy will lose, but neither guy will win either. I think this is the perfect idea, mainly because I don't want either to happen.

A draw is a stupid finish and will be booed out of the building.
I like the idea of HBK passing out in the gogoplata tbh. Giving his all, never giving up etc.

A draw would be an absolute cop-out.
If I take a step back, I don't want to see either lose...but at the same time I do. Something's gotta give.

After that Mania 25,k Flair has never wrestled for WWE. WWE has held firm to that stip.

It didn't work when they did it with Angle-Undertaker (during his biker days he went to give Angle the Last Ride, Angle reversed to a triangle, Taker lifted him up and delivered the powerbomb but tapped as the ref counted 3). It won't work at Wrestlemania, not everyone watches MMA.

Or they could have Shawn dress up as the Calgary Kid on a random Raw and win a contract.
