I thought the new Smackdown theme is a pot shot at TNA. The lyric "Are you sure you want to cross the line?" sounds like an obvious jab to me.

I don't think the Kennedy Hall Joke was a jab at TNA. After all, Scott Hall screwed TNA. It was a jab at Scott Hall no showing a PPV, and a good one at that.

I thought the new Smackdown theme is a pot shot at TNA. The lyric "Are you sure you want to cross the line?" sounds like an obvious jab to me. Unless there's more attention drawn to it like they did in an episode of The Dirt Sheet, I think it's just coincidence. Cross the line is a common-as-dirt phrase, and was probably being used in WWE/F promos well before TNA existed, so I don't think every utterance of it is a pot-shot at TNA.

Keep in mind that the WWE has a history of doing the same thing towards WCW during the mid-90's, as mentioned in many of the posts in this thread. Mark & how about this, every time TNA takes a shot at WWE we take a shot of alcohol? My suggestion would be reading the rules before posting again.

At Survivor Series 1998 (A few weeks after the Halloween Havoc incident) King: And don't worry, tonight we will stay on air until a new champion is crowned JR: There's no need to make fun of those less fortunate than ourselves. It wasn't until I got the Rise And Fall of WCW DVD that I got that.

I thought the new Smackdown theme is a pot shot at TNA. The lyric "Are you sure you want to cross the line?" sounds like an obvious jab to me. "Do you really wanna cross the line? Go ahead and try to take what's mine! Let it roll, let it roll, I'm unstoppable!" Sounds like a challenge to me. If it's a coincidence, it's the best one ever.

Bischoff mocking McMahon for the XFL is dumb because Vince has made fun of HIMSELF re: the XFL. "Oh no, Rey Mysterio is coming right for me!" ;D

Actually, if you look at the entirety of the song's lyrics, you could make a case for the entire song being a jab at TNA. Take for example: How Does That Dirt In Your Mouth Taste Now Told You I Was Deadly Like A Snake I Will Strangle All Your Hopes Now And Feed Of Your Mistakes There Was Nothing Left For You to Figure Out Your Going Down, Your Going Down

for you young people. Durring the 80's WWF(E) pretended they were the only organization in existence and never acknowledged other promotions. You'd really have to watch to catch the slightest subliminal jab like the case with Virgil(who's a real jerk BTW)
The NWA(WCW) on TBS were a little more blatant in their jabs with out mentioning the competition's name. Like for example they had a jobber(featured before in the "Jobber of the Week") named Terry Hogan who looked just like Hulk Hogan but fatter and way shorter and he got creamed on a weekly basis.
In the early days of the Monday night wars, Vader debuted in WWE and on Nitro they'd show highlight video clips on Hulk Hogan and other WCW stars beating up Vader but not mention his name just talk about what great stars THEY had.
With both savage & Hogan in WCW, WWE had the Ultimate Warrior return for his 3rd run and they ran a high light reel on him talking about beating Hogan for the belt, and retiring Savage as a way to say they had the better guys.

I just thought of the perfect way Vince could get the ultimate potshot at TNA. Debut a wrestler named "Dr.iMPACT". He would wear robes, police tape, a ring & his finishers would be "Pimpin" & "0.56". I'd mark out so much if that happened. EDIT: Sorry, i didn't know there was a poster on these threads called Mr. iMPACT!
