Ok, them singing Taker to the ring was pretty bad ass. At that point, Taker had been using the "Rollin" song for over a year, and it really fit his American Bad Ass persona. But then, later in the show, Limp Bizkit is showcased to promote a CD that was to release later in the year. Here is the Wrestlecrap part of it, the self titled album "Crack Addict" was never released. More importantly, the song never made it to CD. They use wrestlemania to promote this song and the song never sells. But, according to Tony Chimel, Limp Bizkit will always to "the WWE's favorite band."

"Crack Addict" was a good song, especially for the Rock/Austin promo video.

This was when WWE used good current music. I wouldn't exactly call these guys "good music" but at least they don't sound like a clone of a clone of a clone of Nickelback.

None of this was bad ass. Bizkit were already a forgotten joke by that point. Taker hadn't used the theme for over a year. "Crack Addict" was supposed to be the first single off "Results May Vary," but got such a poor reception from modern rock radio that the song itself was scraped from the album. Really and truly awful, they brought nothing to the event except for maybe a particularly tasteless press release on the day the song was released as it coincided with the start of the Iraq War. None of this was good. All of this was awful.

Limp Bizkit is to music as Billy Gunn is to wrestling.

Heh...IMO, their absolute peak of achievement as far as wrestling goes was giving the WWE the rights to use "My Way" for the Austin/Rock WM X-7 title match.
You can keep your Shawn/Taker promo vids...that one right there is my personal favorite of all time.

I was there, totally popped for Rolling and thought "wow be cool if taker came in durrint this" then he comes out. If I remember right though, he had actually just changed his theme song to "you're gonna pay" so it was a one night return to "rolling" as his theme.

"In The Whole World" It wasn't until The Hart-Mcmahon match that I have cringed that badly when Chimel said that.

I love Fred Durst, because he somehow got famous without a shred of talent.
He can't sing, rap, or write compelling lyrics (except rhyming 'here' and 'here' on Rollin. That was genius).
I don't even ever remember him playing any instruments either for that matter.
You gotta respect a guy whose ambition trumped any actual ability.

I seriously wished Taker chokeslammed Fred Durst once he hit the ring. Can't stand LB (especially what the real meaning of the term is), but their WWE stuff is actually not bad.

Remember Fred Durst in wwe video games? My hate had never been so high for that talentless hack. On somewhat unrelated note, Big Dumb Face was amazing.

I was never really that big on Limp Bizkit. I remember how popular those guys were during my middle school years, but I never really saw the appeal. THe only songs I actually liked from them are "N 2Gether Now" (Probably because of Method Man), both versions of "Rollin'", and "My Way". I will say this, "My Way" did go well with the Austin/Rock video package. I bought Wrestlemania XIX a few months ago and noticed Limp Bizkit performing. They weren't even that popular anymore when they performed. I even fast forwarded during the entrance of Undertaker, as well as skipping their performance of "Crack Addict", even though the song wasn't all that bad. I actually found myself thinking it was okay.

To be honest, I liked Limp Bizkit growing up. In fact, I still kinda like them today. Anyway, I was never around during this time, so I never really saw this. But I must agree that My Way is one of the greatest build-up videos of all time.
