It seems like from what I heard, he is losing every week. Do you think they are jobbing him out?

It seems like from what I heard, he is losing every week. Do you think they are jobbing him out? No, quite the opposite. They are making him look good by losing, it's a very nice alternative to building someone up through an undefeated streak. You gotta have in mind, two of those losses were against champions. One current and one former. When a rookie takes on a champion and wrestles a match that causes the opponent to sweat, it makes him look good even though he loses. He got Jericho to scream and he knocked the giant Khali off his feet, when he preforms feats like that, losing don't matter. The other losses were not clean, either the opponent cheated or his partner got pinned.

It's a storyline.
He's being built to take the US title off Miz so Miz can move on to bigger things, this give Bryan a tremendous rub and his losing streak will all but be forgotten. And the fans seem to like him, so Cole and Matthews are doing their jobs right.

The only one where Bryan was the one not solely responsible for the loss was when Miz was pinned in the tag match.

I mean they don't care if he wrestled somewhere else, that's no reason to be a douche. He's supposed to nag you into thinking he lives in a bubble and is only hating this guy because he's different.

Let me throw this out there: why shouldn't they job out Daniel(son)? His main fanbase is the devoted, hardcore wrestling fans who've followed him since the indies, and who are allegedly "smart" enough to watch wrestling for the workrate and exciting, high-quality matches rather than for any kayfabe acomplishments. Should it really matter if Daniel Bryan is scripted to win or lose 100% fake matches, as long as he's given a decent amount of time to put on a solid, entertaining performance?

I don't know who Danielson is, but that Daniel Bryan is a loser.

Yes. Yes they are and it's extremely counterproductive.

I wouldn't say he's being jobbed out, but at this point, it's starting to turn from "compelling booking", like it legitimately was at first, and it's starting to turn into "counterproductive booking". If you book someone to do nothing but lose long enough, the fans will see them as just that, a loser, and nothing else. Bryan's right on the threshold of that territory.

I have no problem with Darren Young, but him losing surprised me, especially since I was thinking they would have Dragon face Young and beat him or something.
It's interesting to see that the fans voted mostly for Dragon (I voted for Justin Gabriel based on kayfabe as well, I would have put Dragon in 4th, with Slater and Barrett at 2 and 3 respectively). My hope is that, his persistence and how much the fans like him is what will get him over. Kinda like what happened with Matt Hardy when WWE were jobbing him out like crazy after the Edge feud, but because he kept putting on good matches and was so over, they ended up pushing him. Until recently though of course.
Or, maybe they need the other guys to get over more, and because Dragon is already over as it is, he's being used to help get a guy like Darren Young over, who isn't as known as Dragon. So, he's a valuable babyface who can stay over, despite losing, where as a guy like Michael Tarver, probably can't afford many more loses, as he's not as over.

I just don't get why they would have him win NXT and use his champion shot against the US champ. Why not a world title shot?

It's 0-8, not exactly the best record that's for sure.

To play Devil's advocate for a sec:
Everybody assumes that this will ultimately lead to a Match with Miz for the US belt that he will ultimately end up winning.
But what if it doesn't?
What if it does lead to a match with Miz, but he loses?
what if it doesn't lead to a match with Miz at all?
What if he does win the US belt, but he's been jobbed out for so long that the fans have long since given up on him and shit all over his title reign? If they do, will you blame the 0-X booking that he's been getting so far?
