Now that everybody keeps talking of Wade, Bosh, and LeBron as the nWo, how awesomely heelish would it be if they came strolling out to the nWo theme during pre-game intros. tinyurl.com/2d9qfqy

I'm thinking Wade will be that guy. He'll look at Bosh and see he just wants to be seen on a contender, then he'll see LeBron taking "yearbook" photos of the roster. That's when he'll remember, "this is MY team...and I'm older than you punks...GIVE ME THE DAMN BALL!" It should be Wade. Listening to Wilbon on the radio earlier today, it would benefit LeBron to go back to playing as he did in his rookie season. Scoring when open and needed, but deferring if it's at all possible. Back before everyone got in his ear about how "if you want to be a star, you have to take the last shot". Like how people got on his ass for passing that last second shot off to Donyell Marshall, even though it was the right play. LeBron is finally playing with a great big man and a fierce scorer. He could average well over 10 assists if he wanted.

I'm guessing there might be a riot tonight? I really can't blame them. lebron never cared about the cavs fans at all: i should note, of course, that not all players are like lebron but....

I found the press conference to be tasteless towards Cleveland. I hope they fall apart and realize that they aren't the big shots anymore.

Miami is overpaying Chris Bosh (7 seasons, only 3 playing 71+ games, 3-8 playoffs, 230 pounds). Golden State is overpaying David Lee and giving up way too much. Atlanta is paying Joe Johnson far too much. Darko got too much from the Wolves. Brendan Haywood just got $55m over 6 years from Dallas. The Grizzlies are overpaying Rudy Gay.
Milwaukee's acquisition of Corey Maggette, re-signing of Drew Gooden and John Salmons, and shedding of Charlie Bell and Dan Gadzuric are worth mentioning as the start of a smart offseason.
Jermaine O'Neal to the Celtics is intriguing. Half of me says, wow, way to infuse the team with youth, replacing a college player from the 1995 draft with a high school player from the 1995 draft.
Travis Outlaw might be a smart signing for New Jersey at $7m per year for 5 years.
The Channing Frye and Hakim Warrick signings by the Suns lead me to believe that the organization is taking very seriously Steve Nash's commitment to excluding sugar from the diet and consuming fewer than 1,500 calories per day.

"LeBron James, you better stay in school. Don't get drafted by Cleveland." Absolutely epic, especially considering tonight.

It seems like a smart move......but one can always remember the 2004 Lakers for memory that sometimes, the supposed dream team doesnt get to go all the way. In fact, the ironic thing about those 2004 Lakers losing in the finals was the way it happened. They got beat badly and were lucky enough to even win one game. And this was to a team that had no big names at the time. And the MVP of that series was a man nobody outside of Pistons fandom had ever heard of. Oh yeah, that. Good times, good times. Makes me completely forget that the Pistons were pretty bad last year. Well, almost.

Simmons said it best: Doing that to Cleveland via live primetime tv was a giant eff you. That's the thing. It's a free country, he can sign wherever he wants to, but to spurn Cleveland in such a public way is brutal.

Bogut was more of a freak accident though. Just landed badly on his elbow. It was pretty bad (worst arm injury IMO, worst injury overall still goes to Livingston), but he doesn't have a history of injuries that I can think of. As for Redd...yeah, good luck with that.
