What team do you think is LeBron James going 2? I think it will be The Knicks The Bulls or The Heat. I heard talk about the clippers I just found out today that the clippers wanted Lebron. *Mod Note: I'd figure I'd just make this the NBA thread since the last one reached the limit and this one was started up before hand so here we go.

He'll stay in Cleveland... as long as the team goes out and gets him help beyond 4ppg Moe Williams. (AKA Bosh/Boozer)
I firmly believe the the whole situation is based on that.

He goes to the Bulls with Bosh - playing with Noah and Rose will be far too tempting.

Which he has no reason to believe they will, since they haven't already. Cleveland's idea of "help" is Jamison, Mo Williams, aged Shaq? I think it speaks volumes when Chris Bosh has said LeBron or not, he does not want to go to Cleveland. Solid organization, neeeeever going to win a title as currently constituted. I've thought the Bulls since we began approaching free agency and I'm sticking to it. I WANT him to go to the Heat and form the triad of doom, but that's seemingly a "too good to be true" scenario. He can get Bosh to go to the Bulls with him, have a core four of those two with Rose and Noah, then still sign a solid role player to join what they already have. The Knicks and my Nets may as well begin looking towards Boozer and Lee. LeBron isn't sniffing them, no matter what the media tells me. He has three choices: 1) Get paid out the ass but likely never win a title (Cleveland). 2) Get paid out the ass, just slightly less (which given his salaries shouldn't matter anyway) and lose more than he would in Cleveland (New York) 3) Get paid out the ass and have a real shot at a title (Chicago/Miami) Unless he really is just too afraid of his old town hating him THAT much, his reasons to stay in Cleveland are monetary and that's it. I do laugh at the ESPN folks screaming, "YOU CAN'T LEAVE 30 MILLION ON THE TABLE!!!!". Dude, he's LeBron James. He's going to get paid. He's already gotten paid like a mad man. He's got endorsements most players could never dream of. This isn't Latrell Spreewell. Dude isn't going to say "I have to feed my kids man, 95 million isn't going to cut it.".

I agree the Knicks and Nets have zero chance. The Heat may seem like a sexy choice with Wade & Bosh, but thats Wade's team, not Lebrons...I think Lebron wants his own title. Dont think the Clips have much of a chance since Kobe's kinda in the same city.
Which leaves the Cavs and Bulls. I dont think he goes anywhere but one of these 2. I'm kinda leaning towards him going to Chicago, but thats a HUGE shadow to live under...I mean astronomically massive.
I'm kinda hoping he stays in Cleveland, mainly because I'm an Ohioan, and frankly, if he leaves, we dont have much to look forward to as far as pro sports go lol

Lebron's free agency is actually one of the more exciting things to happen in the NBA in a long time. I actually care about what is happening in basketball for once. Ever since the end of the Jorden era and Barkley retired, I haven't gotten excited about the NBA. Where won't he go? Any team in the West. He doesn't want to have to overcome the giant that is the Lakers just to get to a championship game. You will notice that no Western confrence team is on his short list. Although if he wants to win a championship, he probably should just go to the Lakers. I think he should stay in Cleveland. He is just as marketable there and has as good of a chance as anyone to win a championship in the East. The Cavs will have to bring in another free agency like Chris Bosh or Joe Johnson if they are going to get the job done. Overall, I am kind of offended the way the mainstream media treats Cleveland like its some kind of podunk cowtown. Maybe not everyone loves New York the same way the media does. In Cleveland, Lebron is king. In New York, the media is king. They will still write articles calling out Derek Jeter. What more does that guy have to do to prove himself? Some people can play in New York and some can't. Lebron can make more money playing in New York but if he wants to win a championship, he has a better chance in Cleveland just because they will bend over backwards to keep him happy and in town.

If Bosh goes to the Bulls: Bulls If Bosh goes to the Cavs: Cavs If Bosh goes to the Heat: I think one of the wild card teams gets him like the Nets or Clippers.

Ever since the end of the Jorden era and Barkley retired, I haven't gotten excited about the NBA. Agreed. The combination of the draft class and free agent crop this offseason has me more excited about the NBA than ever. Sadly is, I don't have my 'own' team anymore(since the Sonics left). I guess maybe I could start reppin' Portland.

Nets signed undrafted free agent Duke C Brian Zoubek.
The Celtics are believed to be targeting restricted free agent J.J Redick, several sources tell Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.
GM Danny Ainge is apparently trying to use Rasheed Wallace's contract in trade talks, as Sheed hasn't officially filed his retirement papers yet.

A thought just occured to me. Realistic, where ever Lebron goes, he will have enough more to last normal person three lifetimes. But so did Scottie Pippin and he is flat broke now. So maybe Lebron should go to the Bricks, win 19 games a year, and make as much as he can. At this point, I don't know if I would be shocked or not to find out Lebron is broke after his playing years are over.

So far, there is no indication that Lebron makes poor choices with his money(and he can use the Pippen-example as a learning experience). Plus, Lebron makes most of his money in endorsement deals, something Pippen didn't have as much of.

I think if Lebron leaves Cleveland, so will the Cav's in 5 years. Just like when the Elway did not want to go to the Colts, which set in motion the team leaving Baltimore. I hope he does would love to see the Cav's come to Norfolk...........................Now presenting the Virginia Squires!!!!!!
