Clippers, please get a team for baron Davis. Get lebron, Wade. Or Amare. Please I want to see the clippers become a playoff team. Heck try to steal phil Jackson Another Clippers fan? Clippers fans unite. The thing is, the Clippers have a team for Baron Davis. There's no doubt the Clip Show could use help at SF, but there's a lot of talent on that team. And I want to see the Clippers get a SF. I like Rasual Butler, but he's better off the bench. The Clippers need a new owner.

A lot of people kina saw this coming. He opted out and re-signed for less, thus giving the team a little more cap money this year

I don't get why the Nets are consider such a better option than the Knicks. I am hearing how much talent they have, well unless I am dreaming that so called talent won 12 games.
I understand the Bulls and Heat being considered, but the Knicks and Nets are on equal footing, they are offering New York and to playgate his ego, while the Bull and Heat advange is winning now, and the Cavs is the biggest guilt trip ever.

From the beginning of the year last season the Nets' entire roster was injured on and off, and with new names coming in the team never had a chance to gel. Late in the year when they finally all got to play together there was no time for the team to form any chemistry and what you got was a 12 win team. That being said, late in the year when it all came together is also when they started getting their wins. On talent alone they were better than that. Two years ago Devin Harris emerged as a legitimately good point guard, and Brook Lopez is developing quickly in to a 20/10 guy. Courtney Lee was a real contributor in the Magic's run to the finals as well. Terrence Williams from Louisville showed some major potential in his rookie season as well as a potential 15/5/5 kinda guy. They weren't a playoff team a year ago even if everything goes right, but they were at least a 10-11 seed in the conference. Last season wasn't indicative of how good they really are.
I see no shot they get LeBron, even if the meetings yesterday really did go as amazingly as is being reported. However, they're still in the running to trade for Chris Paul, and even if that falls through I'd take their roster with Derrick Favors over whatever shambles the Knicks are trying to glue back together.

Plus, if you go to my earlier post where it says The Knicks offer Lebron as a brand almost a guaranteed billion dollars they didn't talk about the Nets, who can offer that metropolitan market as well. The team there is deceivily better and with that Bond Villian as an onwer, they have money to burn to make the Nets the biggest team internationally in the world, plus adding the best player in the league equals money out the wazoo for LBJ and The Nets. The smartest monetary move, and maybe even the smart player move is to New Jersey then. The question becomes which big name to get to play alongside LeBron in Newark? Bosh and Amare don't fit because they have their youthful frontline. The trade for CP3 dangles some, but money would still be there for a 2/3 kind of player. Maybe a JJ Redick or the like to give you a starting 5 of Paul, LeBron, Reddick, Favors and Boone. The Nets basically become the Blazers or Thunder of the East, a team that is a trendy pick to do things and with two great players and a player in Lopez who can match Howard, a pick to get to the finals every year.

Of course not forgetting that the Nets will only be in New Jersey for two more years - they're essentially selling LeBron the chance to play in Brooklyn from 2012.

Indeed, which is why the ability to play in a New York market is something not just the Knicks can offer. The fact that they didn't mention the Nets in that PowerPoint may be something to show they don't think of them as competition, ie WWF v. WCW?

Interesting turn of events. The Bulls have already gotten a second meeting with Wade scheduled for tonight, and according to Chad Ford a source high up says he hears Wade is actually leaning towards the Bulls over the Heat now.
