Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that multiple teams are interested in Kerry Wood.
Rosenthal writes that nothing is imminent, some teams may be encouraged by Wood's recent string of scoreless appearances. Provided he stays healthy, his experience could be valuable for a contender. Either the Indians will have to kick in some of the approximately $5 million left on his contract or take next to nothing and just be thrilled for the salary relief. Finally, Rosenthal writes that the Indians have found some interest in Jake Westbrook, while Austin Kearns and Jhonny Peralta have found little to no interest.
One rival general manager tells Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com that the Rangers have become the favorite to land Cliff Lee.

Cliff Lee, step into the light!
Save us from the horrible reality of Rich Harden coming back into our starting rotation.
If Seattle wants Justin Smoak, take him. That just means we have to count on Chris Davis again, which is fine by me. The guy can hit and has proven it in the majors already. He just needs to better develop his eye for the ball. Which hopefully is what he's doing at AAA.
You want Salty? Fine, we have about 457,931 catchers in the system at this point. Hell, right now Salty, Taylor Teagarden, and Max Ramirez are all 3 at AAA Oklahoma.
You want pitching prospects, we have 5 billion to choose from. I just hope there's a certain 3 or 4 that are made off limits.
I'm assuming the package for Lee would have to require a few major league ready talents, which Smoak and Salty are. Just fill in some prospects around them and it should be good.

On MLBTradeRumors, they state that Kearns DOES have interest, just not as much as Westbrook.
Still, no one wants Peralta. Just like Cleveland...

As long as Lee doesn't go to the Yanks/Mets/Braves I'll be happy. I'd say it's a good bet that Lee, the smug son of a bitch, will be donning Yankee pinstripes by this Winter.

I have to say, the fates are smiling on the Phils tonight. Just all these small things are going their way, else no chance they'd be winning this game right now.

...And instead of an inning ending strikeout, the Reds tie it up via nobody covering home plate because apparently it takes two people to pick up a ball that rolled to the backstop nowadays. Seriously, WHAT THE f***.

No one else wants to be in it. Why shouldn't he get to? See, I think every year, one of the NL entrants should be a starting pitcher who has a rep as a batting practice all star. Seriously, wouldn't a home run derby with Carlos Zambrano or Danny Haren or Adam Wainwright or Carlos Silva be more interesting than one with a middling power hitter? Pitcher's duel in Chavez Ravine in the bottom of the 7th. Cubs lead 2 to 1.Dodgers lead 3-2. Randy Wells: 7 innings pitched ; 5 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 7 strikeoutsson of a bitch...6 hits, 3 runs, 1 walk, 7 strikeouts Clayton Kershaw: 7 innings; 7 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks, 10 strikeouts Loney singles in Furcal; Alfonso Soriano solo home run; Soto singles in Ramirez; Furcal 2-run homer.

Oh, another highlight of the game (kind of because it was funny in my mind) was Edge (Jayson Werth) cutting a heel promo on a dad and his kid for robbing him of a inning ending catch just in the stands. Obviously it was a heat of the moment thing, but hopefully Werth made up for it afterwards, because DAMN if you could read lips dude was cursing a blue streak at them. Here's the play if you want to see: philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=9797425&topic_id=8877956&c_id=phi
