Paul Rudd fans rejoice, todays the day. Judging by the previews it looks like it could be either really good or really terrible. I'm really hoping good cuz my gf and I want another Rudd dvd to add to the collection.
and for promo purposes, Between two Ferns with Steve Carrell:

It gets a 51% right now on Rotten Tomatoes, but there isn't a consensus yet because they don't have enough reviews.

The trailers intrigue me. Not sure what else I can say about it, without having seen it.

The trailers intrigue me. Not sure what else I can say about it, without having seen it. Same here. Everything about this movie on paper sounds like it'll be terrible, and yet I can't help myself from laughing when I see the trailer or commercials for it.

I'm going on the theory of "how bad could it be" with some of my all time favorite people right now in it. I really hope Jemaine Clement has a beefy role.

I went to the midnight showing, it had a great message for Carrell's character.
It was funny as hell, and also Carrell was on. Almost everything he said was hilarious.

I want to see it, somewhat... but I get the Dumb and Dumber vibe from it. And I didn't really like that movie.
I also cannot help but think that it's just Carrell's Anchorman character for 90 minutes.

I just got back from the theater after seeing this, it was awful. Maybe one or two funny moments, but on a whole it was just an unfunny, bad, movie.
At most it's a rental.

I also cannot help but think that it's just Carrell's Anchorman character for 90 minutes. That's what I thought going in. This character has a lot more depth and heart. Maybe I was just in a good theatre, but everyone was rolling. It was the best time I've had there in a while. The one that actually seems more like an old character is RUdd. His "mean/nice misguided" thing seems to be his schtick now, but it still has its charm.

I thought it was pretty funny. I didn't really sympathize with Rudd's character, though. His apartment was too nice for me to think he was just trying to "be a somebody." And his girlfriend was cute, but kind of a snooty little thing. I did like Jemaine a lot, though.

I'm not a huge Carrell fan but for some reason this movie intrigues me. I might actually see it.

I...
HATED....
THIS....
MOVIE!!!!
The very first time I ever walked out on a movie in my life. It didn't help matters the theater I went to was waaayy overpriced and the movie started 25 minutes late because management sucks.
Also, this movie has segments that don't work at best and is horribly disturbing at its worst. Keep in mind I like the talents of Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, and Jay Roach, but all their talents are wasted, especially of Carrell who is made to be the biggest asshole retard character ever.
The less said the better, but when Carell's character had that "freak" scene with Rudd's old flame, I threw my hat down and left.

I haven't seen this yet, but it's a remake of a French film and they've changed a lot of the original story. The original was pretty damn funny.

Listening to the Tony Kornheiser Show, he was ripping this movie, especially for the title.

Well Roger Ebert likes it.
I might check it out. I am a big fan of the cast.
