i was thinking, becuase they usually have a Football 'masters' game around this time of year, do you think a free ppv of the legends of WWE having exibition matches. Raw XV was really successful because of ther nostalgic feel so a ppv with the greatest of all btime would be better!
anyone want this? if so wat matches would be good?

For nostalgia yes, but a hell no on the in-ring action.

I would say it was a great idea. But I`ve seen the legends of wrestling PPV. It would not be pretty.

-Only if they did mix it up with today's stars. -They gave us matches that we would want to see (Hogan-Austin) -If Howard Finkle was ring announcing.

I would not want to see a WWE Legends PPV. But I wouldn't mind the WWE creating a WWE Legends title, that leads to us seeing big names come back and compete occasionally, one match per show.

Two weeks later Randy Orton challenges and wins it. Then it is quickly forgotten. Wouldn't be a bad idea except for the fact that the writers would not leave the damn belt alone. They would try putting it on some young punk and have the old guys job to him in the hopes of building his credibility, completely ignoring the fact that it should only be for guys who have been in the business for 20 years and up.

It's a nice idea but I don't think it would work. Probably do more harm than good as you want them at their peak. Some things are best left for the past.

I remember those WCW events in the mid-90s (Slamboree???) where they had legends matches in the middle of the show. It wasn't a pretty sight.

We already have. It was called "Heroes of Wrestling". And it did not go well. I have the show and the psychiatric bills to prove it.

Remember when ESPN had the Packers of the 60's vs. the Steelers of the 70's vs. the 49ers of the 80's vs. the Cowboys of the 90's though the miracle of computers and trick photography? WWE could do something like that. Matches I'd like to see include:
Bruno Sammartino vs. HHH
Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle
Brock Lesnar vs. Vader
Rockers vs. Hardyz vs. Londrick
Moolah vs. Trish
Andre the Giant vs. the Undertaker
Bruiser Brody vs. Mick Foley

it could be good, althought it would be a carwreck it would still be entertaining. It's just a shame that so many of the stars that could have made it great are dead. It really is scary how many stars of the eighties/early 90s are dead

I remember those WCW events in the mid-90s (Slamboree???) where they had legends matches in the middle of the show. It wasn't a pretty sight. 1993 was indeed pretty bad. In 1994, the only match was Funk vs. Blanchard, which was pretty damn fun. In 1995, I believe Wahoo McDaniel wrestled Dick Murdoch, and that must've been horrible (I think I was on a constant FF through that match).

I didnt mind the 93 legends matches actually. Bockwinkle vs Dory Funk Jr was a good 70s-style match, the six man match (mulligan, brunzell, wahoo vs muraco, orton, snuka) was fun, but i will admit that thunderbolt patterson/brad armstrong vs Baron/Koloff was bad.
