Would people really want to read that? Would seem to me like just another grumpy smark saying how he knew better then the guys who did it for a living. I don't know ... friends and readers? Opinions? Jed Shaffer ~Seize the opportunity. I don't normally throw it out like this. Still think you should go with "What if the Bills had won four straight Super Bowls?" Semper Fi, Erik Majorwitz ~License to print money or get some more from the wife.~

Jed Shaffer ~Seize the opportunity. I don't normally throw it out like this. I would want to read it. Again, its why I do random reviews inbetween the biggie reviews....to freshen things up, break out the malaze. But yeah, the last poster hit upon another great idea for you to try sometime......non-wrestling related "What Ifs." You know, the classics.... What if JFK wasn't shot in 1963? What if Michael Jordan, not Sam Bowie, was picked #1 by Portland in 1983 NBA Draft What if Jets lost Super Bowl III? What if the SW prequels were actually good?

I would want to read it. Again, its why I do random reviews inbetween the biggie reviews....to freshen things up, break out the malaze. I guess I'm not entirely comfortable with being an armchair booker. You know, outside the confines of me being one in RTB. But if there's a popular demand for it, maybe I'll give it a shot. As Jim Ross has been known to say, "Go with what brought you to the dance." Wrestling's been in my blood for 22+ years. Things like history and sports ... yeah, I know it, but it's not IN me, ya know? Don't know if I could do it justice. Even as a lifetime Blazers hater (I lived there ... their noblesse oblige attitude was nauseating), I can't deny that the idea of Jordan on the same time as Clyde The Glide, Terry Porter and Uncle Cliffy ... holy JEEBUS. Who says they weren't? I enjoyed all of them. They weren't 4-6, but I wasn't expecting 4-6 ... I was expecting something else. And I am happy with what I got (okay, not Jar Jar ... but I will defend Hayden's acting to the bitter end). Trust me, no fictional story is gonna be enough salve for that wound. Jed Shaffer ~Seriously, though, if I see enough of a groundswell of support for the idea of an "RTB: What if Jed was booking today's product", I might do it. Certainly would be different.

That comment about the SW prequels was a joke. I almost typed in "what if GODFATHER 3 didn't disapoint?"....
As for the Super Bowl Bills...................What if Scott Norwood's kick was Good?
Just imagine that scenario. Bills win a Super Bowl, Bill Parcells be only a one-time Super Bowl winner, just imagine how different, or not, that NFL history could be.

That comment about the SW prequels was a joke. I almost typed in "what if GODFATHER 3 didn't disapoint?".... I wasn't offended. T'was just answering the question, so I could identify myself as the one guy who liked them all. Ya know, I've never seen either of the Godfather sequels. At best, I think they may have won one more. The two Dallas Super Bowls, they were just outmatched. Period. Would you believe that Norwood WASN'T villified in Buffalo? He was treated like a hero after the game. That's kind of touching. In almost any other city, Norwood would've been burned at the stake. Jed Shaffer ~And I've only seen Godfather once, 10 years ago. Almost feel like I should turn in my man-card.

I'd like to see another "What If Jed Wrote A Bunch Of Random What Ifs?"
My favorite: What if Vince Russo's life was as crazy and nonsensical as his booking?

Comedy is extraordinarily difficult for me, believe it or not. Maybe if I find enough ideas ... I just feel really weird TRYING to be funny. I've put up a poll in the WrestleCrap section. Go thee, read and vote! Jed Shaffer ~100 billion times more satisfying then voting in the elections.

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

With their DVD players, since they clearly aren't using them to watch The Godfather.

what if Jarrett went back to WWE and didnt start up TNA? Hold on, let me check ... nope, Hell's still at 45,000,000,000 degrees. I bet, due to size, he'd've been cut and would've gone to TNA anyway. HBK SUXX0RZZZ!!!1!1 Sorry, had to. Jed f'n Shaffer ~After a year and a half of training peeople to spell it corrcetly, now I'm gonna have to break you all into putting the "f'n". Good lord, don't I have enough kids?!?

I think the one I want to see the most is "What if Hulk Hogan never left the WWF?"
Imagine Hulk Hogan vs. Giant Gonzales.

Even if he was Douchey McWonderDiva in the 90's, he was--and still is--a great in-ring performer. Jed f'n Shaffer ~But it's fun to break out the "teh suxxorz" comments, since my wife tries to kill me every time I say it.
