Have you lost any respect for Flair since he jumped to TNA. About a year ago, Flair did a episode of Legends of Wrestling on WWE 24/7. On the round table discussion on WCW, they began talking about Ed Farrera's Oklahoma gimmick. Ric Flair says to Jim Ross, "Vince Russo was booking at the time. You ended up in the Hall of Fame and look at what he is doing now. He works for TNA. What is TNA ?"
Now look at what Flair is doing. Flair works for TNA.

Nope, the old guy has got himself a job which brings in the money. And in this economic recessions and all the divorces he has he needs all the cash he can get.
Also he's helping get AJ and hopefully Desmond Wolfe over so it's all good

Short answer "No".
I have to agree that Flair needs the money at the moment. And what better place to have him than to help this young company?
I don't want him wrestling though. But we'll have to endure that on Monday's Impact.

Yep. Dude's a huge conman who exploited what was supposed to be one of the few meaninful storylines in pro wrestling and made it mean nothing.
As for his comment on TNA, he buried WCW as well when he worked for WWE. Nothing is meaningful to him and the wrestling industry would be better with him GONE for good.

I might have if this wasn't Ric Flair, the man who needs to be involved with wrestling more than he needs air to breathe. As it stands, no.

I don't think Flair commands much respect in the first place outside of his wrestling career. As a human being he has always seemed like a mess.

Not at all. I'm beginning to wonder how many threads of this nature we're going to get. Pretty soon we'll have one attempting to blame him for WCW going out of business, Vince's mismanagement of the Invasion, and the death of the territory system.
As for the retirement thing and people getting upset about it...again, pay attention to the history of the wrestling business and you'll find that announced retirements are seldom final. It's just hard for me to understand someone expecting they'd never see Flair again.

Not at all. He's earning money to pay off his debts.

Even though I am in a minority that thinks Ric Flair's TNA appearances have seemed awkward and out-of-place, I thought he was downright hilarious last week where he brought back the hyperactive about-to-explode Nature Boy. He was just seconds away from elbow dropping his jacket!! I used to love that stuff when he did it in WCW.
Then again he did *repeatedly* refer to Abyss as "The Abyss", which made me think of Mike Adamle. It's never good when your knowledge of a wrestling show is on par with Mike Adamle's.

I look at Ric Flair and it just makes me sad.[/quote This. I haven't lost respect for him, from what I hear from people that actually worked with him, he is a total class act. That said, it is sad to see him literally deteriorate in front of my eyes like this. When he was profusely sweating during the promo the other night, it made me worry about him, especially with the alcoholism rumors.]

Not at all, I lost any respect I had for Flair a long time before this... Flair being a hypocrite should come as no surprise to anyone.

There has been nothing to lose after completely screwing ROH. If there had been, I probably would have lost it somewhere around the Australian tour.

He looked basically the same as he did 10 years earlier...and 10 years before that. The last 7-8 years have NOT been kind to Ric...and it's depressing to see.

Sad to say I'm done with Ric Flair. Deep down, if I'm honest, I saw this coming during the retirement angle, but I'm done.

Nah. His retirement was as fake as his wrestling. I still mark for the Nature Boy.

Nope. Personally, I don't like Flair and would be quite happy if I never saw him on TV again... but I can't say that him coming to TNA affects my respect for him one way or another.

It's just hard for me to understand someone expecting they'd never see Flair again. This. Honestly the man has been involved in wrestling for a long time, he can't just up and leave it altogether (I mean look at Brett Favre). I know the retirement and sendoff was nice, but it'd be unfair to expect a man who lives on wrestling to stay away for good. However I will agree that Flair has looked better, that horrible sweating and tomato redness all the time is kind of scary to be honest.
