10 is definitely my favorite, followed by 9.

I'd say this Wrestlemania was the dawning of the New Generation. This Mania proved that the WWF can survive without Hulk Hogan. Course this was the last event where Luger's push as the next Hogan came to an end as he lost to Yokozuna by DQ. It also set the bar for the Ladder Match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon. It was definitely a sign of a new era in WWF.

I've got to say, I'm very surprised at the love of WM9. As I've said, it really didn't do much for me, and I had been under the assumption (due to discussions with friends and others) that the feeling was more universal. I guess you learn something new on here every day, huh? That said, my fave will always be WM17, as I felt that it had the best combination of matches and overall performances of any 'Mania.

I guess you learn something new on here every day, huh? That said, my fave will always be WM17, as I felt that it had the best combination of matches and overall performances of any 'Mania. Let's look at the last two "matches" Bret vs. Yoko and Yoko vs. Hogan. 3 men ending up holding the title that day and any one of them leaving was basically a no-win situation at the time and they went with the best option they could have. 1. Bret wins, walks away champ. Bret is built up nice and strong he just beat the top heel. Problem now is, Yoko just lost to a guy half his size and is basically killed off dead as the monster heel. No one else on the heel side of the roster is even close to Yoko in terms of being over enough for Bret to face in a main event at King of the Ring or SummerSlam. 2. Yoko pins Bret. Heel walks out as champion. Vince wasn't comfortable with this for another 7 years when Triple H left Mania 2000 as the champ. As for Bret, the face of your "New Generation" just lost, albeit in a dirty finish. Always build around a face champ. Hogan's still around, so the only guy the fans probably believe can take Yoko is Hogan and probably Taker, who's busy stinking out the joint with Giant Gonzalez. 3. What they did. Hogan comes to rescue Bret, pins Yoko. You want to separate from Hulkamania and you're pretty sure Bret is gonna lead the New Generation. So now you have the old school vs. the new school. Hogan vs. Bret at KOTR or SummerSlam......Bret defeats Hogan, is definitely "the guy" and Hogan leaves the WWF to make shitty movies. Option 3 is the rumored intent and makes the most sense....Of course it didn't happen, but we didn't know that that day or until several years after the fact when the story came out.

next to wrestlemania 3 and 8, maybe the best one.
I think alundra blayze (medusa) might be the greatest female wrestler of all time. don't believe me? look up her matches with bull nakano on youtube, especially the one on "raw" from 1995. CLASSIC!
