Was the last Thursday show a 1.0 or a 1.1? I dont feel like digging it up to look.

Last Thursday damaged it. They'll be going back to Thursdays soon enough.

I don't know, almost matching their usual Thursday ratings up against Raw (at least for the time being) is pretty good, IMO. If they were getting below 1.0, then yes that would be a problem.
Regardless, I thought 1.5 would be their max, with 1.2 or 1.3 being the likely, so they drew less than I expected. Too bad. I loved the show.

Seriously, this is a weak rating for RAW, but Stone Cold is hosting next week, so they should rebound. TNA's rating has got to be considered a huge disappointment.

Geez, even taking only the two hours they were against Raw with the last show, that's still a decline.
I wasn't expecting much, but that's even below what I predicted.

Sucks because last night's show was much better than the trainwreck on 1/4.

Dave Meltzer says Impact did a 0.98, so it was rounded UP to 1.0 - failure.

Good News: TNA has a relatively loyal fanbase.
I don't see anything to be upset about, not unless the second hour's rating dipped.

What the hell...I find that really hard to believe. I mean this Monday was nowhere near as advertised as Jan 4th but...wow. God damn.

I don't see how this is bad. If TNA's ratings dropped to half of what they used to be such as a 0.5 or something, this would indicate that having WWE on another channel is causing people who would normally watch TNA to watch Raw instead. However TNA's Monday rating was the same as it's Thursday rating (more or less), so this tell me that TNA has a core audience that is still going to watch TNA despite the fact that Raw is on at the same time.
Don't get me wrong, if TNA wants to become "the biggest wrestling company in the world, brother", then maintaining their core audience won't be enough. They are going to have to start winning over WWE fans, and that clearly hasn't happened to much yet. Hopefully it will in time, for TNA's sake.
