Those points look a bit bigger than the ones reported earlier. The last quarter hour and overrun are very telling. If the overrun was around .76, then people just tuned out around 10:30pm and didn't care. But this shows that (probably) people wanted to see Cena vs McMahon, then switched back to TNA after it was over. It reminds me a lot of the "Fingerpoke of Doom/Butts in Seats" night, where everyone switched over to Raw to see Foley win the title, then switched back to Nitro after it was over. Depends on what came on after Impact. Could have just been that people that don't watch TNA didn't know it ran over, and thought they were tuning in to the next show.

Something called MANswers which gets no ratings. So it was clearly wrestling fans tuning back in to see the end of TNA. They left for Cena vs. McMahon and then returned, even picking up a few RAW viewers. It shows Impact should start at 8:00 PM. They would have an hour all to themselves and their stronger hour would be against RAW's weaker hour.

I thought this past Impact lead into the premiere of a new show they were hyping? I think it was that "Players" show, which is some sort of sitcom about a Sports Bar. I didn't stick around to watch. I wish Spike would bring back the Joe Schmo show. The first season was awesome, but the second season sucked.

Well, a post earlier said Spike was happy with the ratings, so at least they're optimistic for the future. Furthermore, TNA's real competition is with whatever Spike has been airing 9-11 pm on Mondays. The WWE thing is a work to drum up controversy for now. SPIKE TV had re-runs of UFC matches in Monday nights before the Impact move.
