this makes no sense. Nitro has been feuding with Carlito (as well as Shelton) but KANE is the one who he faces at the 2nd biggest PPV of the year? Lazy booking right there since they had no clue what to do with Kane and just tossed him in there instead of letting that feud take its course. It should be Nitro-Benjamin-Carlito in a triple threat ladder match for the IC belt at the show, not Nitro-Kane

They didn't say anything about the IC title match being on Summer Slam, I don't think. It's quite possible the match will be next week.

RAW already has four matches on the card. They need to save the rest for SmackDown! and ECW.

Seriously, I thought that Shelton had already won the right to be #1 contender. It's almost as if the WWE honestly believes that if they don't show a "This happened last week" clip we honestly won't remember it.

The semi-possibly cool idea I had while watching it was that could make Kane the bully that just want's to beat up mid carders but isn't interested in challenging up the card anymore Something like he just want's to beat on people with the work. The downside to this is that it makes Shelton and Carlito look weak, which isn't something should be done right now. But if WWE is content to push Kane they might as well give him an interesting angle to work with other than he's really big and scary.

Last week's episode was so bad that I hit the mental "delete" button.

It gets a little complicated when it progresses like this: triple threat match, number one contender's match, number one contender's match rematch, random tag team match with trish and carlito, bah gawd king it's kane...

Why would Kane care about a midcard title? Shouldn't he be trying to win the WWE Championship? Honestly, it makes no sense for wrestlers to go after the IC belt after they've been WWE/World Champion. I've noticed that a lot of Triple H's opponents get what I like to call "The Secondary Title Depush," where after he's beaten them and taken their title, they go from main eventer to upper midcarder and only compete for lesser belts.

Kane's probably gonna get the IC title as a reward for all his hard work over the years. I'd rather he be world champ, but oh well. I think he niced that idea himself. And Kane's been IC champ after his world title win before, so its not a big deal.

as much as I would like to see a triple threat ladder match, there's already a last man standing and an I Quit match, plus the DX?McMahon match will be a brawl, so thats a ton of gimmick matches in one PPV.
Save it for Unforgiven so that it has a chance to shine.

This is off topic, but I'm getting extremely sick of the spot where guys go off the top rope, and they land in the exact position to take a chokeslam. It's just SO BLOODY CONTRIVED IT MAKES ME WANT TO HURT KITTENS! AAAAAH!!!

Kane doesn't care about titles, he just wants to hurt people.
taking away something prescious to somebody else is within his character

Picturing Kane playing "keep away" with the lesser belts is actually sort of amusing.
Awww, does widdle Shewton Bwenjamin want the IC title? Gotta jump higher! Come on, little guy! (chokeslam)

I'm just pissed that Kane's not wearing the mask again now that he got it back from his doppleganger.
