TNA is not in a great state right now. I doubt Michaels wants to possibly tarnish some of his legacy by going there right now. Ric Flair did. Ric Flair is a scummy piece of crap, who took whatever paycheck was available so he wouldn't have to eat Alpo. And I practically have a better chance of showing up in TNA than HBK does.

Why does banning Michaels = Michaels to TNA? As has already been speculated, Vince is likely pissed off that Michaels slammed him for firing Danielson.

Because TNA is the Oakland Raiders of pro wrestling. It's where all former big-name talent goes when the big teams don't want them anymore. And I'm a Raiders fan.

I still find it hard to believe that Vince would be pissed at Shawn for arguing with him over Danielson, even to the point of erasing him from history for a while.
Hell, Billy Graham tried to put him in jail, and now the guy's in the hall of fame, and Vince and Co. act like it's water under the bridge.

The day Michaels shows up in TNA is the same day I become a nuclear chemist.

What about Jerry Lawler on commentary this past monday on RAW asking "and who is from San Antonio?" with Cole ignoring it and NOT even mentioning Shawn Michaels by name? Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I found the akward pause following that question just a little peciluar. Like Cole was about to comment on it and Vince told him not to..Then again who the hell knows?

That's just how the mystery GM shtick goes. When Cole did the "I change the questions" quote a couple weeks back, Lawler said something like "I recognize that quote". They're not going to blurt out the name on TV. The red herring quotes are more than enough.

Shawn was still featured several times in the pre Raw theme song segment, the one where you hear Vince say, "ANDRE THE GIANT!" And he was also clearly visible in the "Summerslam rewind" (or whatever) montage. And he was prominently featured in the "Network premiere" of WM 26 ad. You could see him like 15 times if you were looking for him. He hasn't been, and almost certainly won't be "erased", for any of several dozen reasons.

TNA is not in a great state right now. I doubt Michaels wants to possibly tarnish some of his legacy by going there right now. Ric Flair did. Besides the divorce and everything else, while Flair was an ambassador Vince wouldn't let Flair go to the NWA Hall of Fame, or really do much outside of the WWE. For some stupid reason Flair felt he could make more money outside of his WWE Legends deal, which I doubt he did. Also I believe Flair was more forced to retire, while Micheals really wanted to. I am sure if Micheals wants to wreslte again, Vince will let him, he will just have to wait. But what else does Micheals have to accomplish? I think he just wants to spend time with his family and will eventually be back in a WWE ring to some capacity. I seriously doubt he would go to TNA. There is only one thing they can offer and that is a one shot dream match between him and Sting. I also don't think he has faced RVD before. But considering his best friend has huge amounts of power and Vince would let the guy get away with murder it would be stupid to go to TNA for less than he makes as an ambassador. As far as this newz goes, because it is and was released here a week ago, as several others have stated Micheals image is not being hidden at all on WWE programming. Until I see that, it's obvious BS.

I wonder why Ric Flair is unable to explain to the judge that he can't possibly earn as much when he's 63 as he can when he's 33 due to the nature of this business.

You heard it here first Shawn Michaels to replace Tazz on the announce team. A bit of NEWZ and a lot of speculation.

The newz sites are still hot about the implausibility of Bryan Danielson's firing. The manufactured blowup between Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon, where HBK was all like "How dare you fire my student and make Wrestling Observer look bad by implying it was all a work", is just fantasy. Their product is moving on, and HBK is retired. He's not coming to TNA.

They're moving forward, and perhaps HBK also asked them not to reference him that much so he can cut down on people asking him when he's coming back. The only way HBK goes to TNA is if Vince buys it, and sends HBK there as the guy announcing to the Impact Zone that Vince owns TNA.

So, he's done with wrestling, but there's speculation that he might go to TNA? How does that work?

I like speculations threads but they're more fun when I think there's even a tiny grain of truth in them.
No HBK in TNA.

Wont' happen. I'm pretty sure HBK is done wrestling. The fact that he even came back after being retired for four whole years is pretty huge. Of course before that he was hopped up on drug killers and stuff which is no doubt the real reason why he retired and not his broken back...........pain killing drugs mask pain and he was taking a lot of them when he retired the first time around.
If he had been clean in the late 90s he would have been back in less than six months from that back injury. Pain killers can really keep people from healing especially if the injury is significant enough.

There's a better chance of Jeff Jarrett going back to WWE than HBK coming to TNA.
