Alot of posters here are mixing up 'Unrealistic' with plain old 'Crap'
Most unrealistic finishers are the Killswitch, Figure Four Leg Lock, and Electric Chair Drop.

The point isn't that the kick isn't strong. The point is that if you can shrug off 30+ bare knuckle blows square in the face, why the hell should a kick do anything special? The sheer amount of punches have established that you are literally immune to the headshot. For example: Go punch a brick wall 30 times. Then go kick it once. Notice how you did jack squat. The move makes a lot more sense in a world where a wrestlers head isn't made of "titanium". Although the argument that he aims for under the chin as opposed to the head is a good one. That, I understand. Again, I've been both the recipient of and deliver of a side kick to the head that has resulted in a loss of consciousness. It's so much more ridiculously powerful than a punch that you have to feel it to understand. A punch will KO a person just as quick as a kick will. As long as you get enough force to move the brain inside the skull the force behind the blow is really irrelevant. Being a good striker has more to do with accuracy then it does with power. The chin is an ideal spot to land a strike because doing so causes the brain to bounce around and BANG you have a knock out.

MVPs ballin, The People's elbow, the Worm, are all fake looking moves, but let us not forget the moves like the blockbuster in which you win by taking a suplex, or The Stroke in which you win by taking a rock bottom. Any move where the person giving it takes more punishment than the person receiving it gets my vote. However, for my money, hands down the worst finisher ever is Hulk Hogan's leg drop.

Shelton Benjamin's Paydirt. It doesn't look like he is hurting his opponent at all doing it. In fact, it looks like he takes the most punishment from it.
Why couldn't he have just kept the T-bone suplex? I have actually taken a T-bone before and I nearly broke my back doing it.

i think that you're never going to get total agreement on lame or unrealistic finishers. why? because if you can make people belive it's an effective finisher, there will be people out there who will buy into it. the people's elbow? macho man's elbow drop? hogan's leg drop? they're lame as all hell, but they are presented to the fans as effective. hell, i could do a simple leg sweep, pin someone, and call it a finisher and get you to believe me. now for my list of awful finishers: 1: styles clash/faithbreaker. if i were a diva and in a match against mccool, i'd easily be able to reverse this into a ground-based submission like a guillotine choke or a gogoplata. not to mention this is an extremely dangerous move (if i remember right, styles has actually injured people with this). 2:gts. REALLY? ? 3:scissors kick. aanyone with half a lick of kayfabe sense would counter this with, say, a fireman's carry variant. 4: full-nelson facebuster. this is just so pathetic. 5: the killswitch actually looks great IMO, but it also seems too easy to reverse. 6:same with the crucifix powerbomb, not to mention it also looks extremely dangerous to execute. 7: clothesline finishers just don't cut it for me.

The goddamn Tongan Death Grip. How is somebody, with the strength of Meng, applying a nerve hold to a sensitive region of the body unrealistic? Attacking nerves can lead to many effects throughout the body. Not unrealistic in the least.
