Surprised there's not a thread about it yet. I've just seen NXT, and I was stunned that he actually said "Total Nonstop Action" at the end of his promo.
Do you think he was told to do that, or will he get in trouble?

If in 48 hours, people are asking "What's a Kaval" Then he's in a bit of trouble

If you thought the rumors about Randy Orton's backstage behavior a few years ago involving peoples bags was bad, just you wait!

I expect a bunch of NEWZ items about his NOOKLEER HEETZ brought to you in association with CM Punk. Punk gave Kaval a fur coat and gold chains for his birthday. Kaval is wearing them backstage. Newclear heatz on the both of them, and Daniel Bryan for criticizing Kaval's fashion sense.

I expect a story about Kaval, a pipe wrench, and an attack on MVP.

Just sayin', I wasn't sure if that sort of thing was frowned upon or whatever. Guys have got in trouble for less (see Daniel Bryan).

I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't keen on it, based on how Matthews joined in with Cole saying Kaval should go. Josh has been a Kaval fan and been logical the whole way through. then he randomly decies the only Rookie who won had the worst night out of everybody.

I hope Kaval doesn't think he can just openly defy the company's wishes and be saved by an Internet campaign if the company takes action against him. He will not be shown the same sympathy or support as a Daniel Bryan.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets in some real trouble for this. It depends what kind of mood the office is in.

He called McGillicuty "Joe" too. I thought it was awesome when he mentioned TNA

Now, outta curiousity, is it the FACT that he said "total nonstop action" that's the problem or is it the way he placed it that'll be the problem?

Yeah, context may have something to do with it. Was it a jab at TNA, or was it the fact that he was referencing being a star there?

Well if he gets in trouble, Cole should be too, since he called Kaval's stare "unIMPACTful".

I am pretty sure it was a jab at TNA.

I wasn't really paying attention during the rap once I realized how terrible it was so I didn't hear the TNA line. If it was a jab at TNA I think it was unnecessary. If he was just referencing it, I don't see what the problem is other than the obvious of talking about The Other Company. Either way he should probably get scolded for it. Hope he's not fired.

I don't think it would have been said on air without someone in the back knowing about it. I'm sure the NXT promos are just as scripted as all the others, so he was either told to say it, or ran it by someone.

He will not be shown the same sympathy or support as a Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan wasn't saved by an internet campaign, he was saved because they never really wanted to fire him in the first place. Which seems very plausible given his being allowed to work dates while under a No Compete clause, etc. Matt Hardy would be a better example of someone who was rehired due to outcry.
