Miz pretty much whipped his ass pretty hard tonight, wicked selling of the clothesline by Bourne though, gotta give him credit.

As soon as was announced as Sheamus' opponent that one night. I knew he was back where he was used to.

Thing is, I don't think Evan Bourne should be getting one constant push to the top. He should win some and lose some and taste main eventdom every now and then. I liked that he's actually being booked realistically, let's not Rey Mysterio him.

If Miz were to have lost I‘m sure you‘d be saying the same thing about him.

To me they brought up Evan so they can bring him back up whenever they need him and it's somewhat believe. At least that's my thinking.

The looks 12 years old and sounds like it too. The only thing he does well is sell. Seems like he's in the right place to me...not everyone can be in the main event.

When his initial push started a few months ago I thought we were getting Raw's answer to Mysterio, the plucky underdog who pulls a victory from thin air.
We do not need another one of those, thanks. One is too much.

How many guys were pushed, de-pushed, then pushed to the moon?
Swagger had his "I'm not going to lose for the rest of the year" thing. That lasted a month or so, then he was nothing for a few months, then won MITB.
Kofi was in the same boat and then got a hot feud with Orton.
The Miz was getting a nice push last year, feuded with Cena, and lost to him in 5 minutes at The Bash. A few months later he won the US title, then tag team title, now MITB.
It's typical WWE booking. Push someone for a short time to see how it works, if they they think they can handle it, they will de-push them for a few months so you don't think of them as a threat, and then out of no where they win gold.

Bourne is in a realistic position on the card, saying that his push came to an end weirdly. He was billed as Cena's friend, beat Chris Jericho a few times etc but then when it comes to time forCena to pick his team to face The Nexus he shafted Evan Bourne aside. That made no sense imo and made Cena seem like a bit of a dick who abandons his friends. Mabe I'm reading too much into it Would have liked Bourne to be a part of team WWE instead of Khali.

I expected Bourne to lose, I didn't expect it to be such an ass whipping and to be so decisively beaten.

Wow he lost a couple matches to 1) the WWE champion 2) the U.S/MITB champion
Yeah, he's sooooo buried cause he doesn't win every week...
Hey remember the 16-0 and Pat lost the Superbowl...man those Patriots sure are awful team...
Looks like someone busted out their jump to conclusions mat again...

I just don't understand why he isn't in the Summerslam team. He had been allies with Cena for a few weeks, he's wrestled consistently more than Khali, he'd been built up decently, etc. Seemed like an easy addition.

As of right now, I believe Evan is where the WWE wants him to be on the card. If he's still employed with WWE when Rey retires, I could see him taking his spot. But, until then, he'll be jobbing to the Main-Eventers. Harley: Also... The Shooting StaRKO knocked his ass out, literally.

Some of you are clearly missing the point. The problem isn't that he lost, it's that he looked like an absolute joke in the process. There was simply no reason for that. It doesn't help Miz, it just hurts Bourne.

It doesn't help Miz, it just hurts Bourne. I dunno about that. The only quibble I had with the match was that Miz took ages to hit Skull Crushing Finale. Bourne got some decent offense in, particularly that hurracanrana.
