We came way too close to losing another one. God was sure nuff by his side if he survived one of those, and is now in good-excellent condition this soon.

This'll be worked into the angle, as much as I hate to see past-it legends taking on young superstars (example: Bret/Miz on Raw a couple months back- as much as I love Bret still, he's way past it and almost fully retired).

Definetly and for some it may be controversial me personally Id wait and see before jumping on the controversial bus.

So what else can go wrong with this angle? Also, get well Ricky.

Wow, that was a close one! Can't believe WWE had a close imitation of Chris Candido. Get well Steamboat!

I hope Ricky Steamboat has a full and speedy recovery. I'm glad that his prognosis is very good. It sounds like they were able to catch it in time before things got really bad. Ricky Steamboat is one of my all-time favorite performers to watch. I'm glad that it sounds like he's going to be OK.

In the official statement they were keen to stress that it didn't have anything to do with Monday's angle, so they don't seem to want any heat to go on the Nexus guys for it at least publicly.
Hope Steamboat makes a speedy recovery anyway.

Get well soon, Ricky!
Looks like when the NXT guys screwed up but Ricky probably shouldn't have been out there and the WWE shouldn't have done the angle.

According to the Observer he is currently in intensive care under 24 hour observation after an angiogram revealed bleeding on the brain. His condition has been upgraded to stable, but he's likely to be in hospital for some time.

Firstly, I'm glad it sounds like Steamboat's going to be OK.
On the other hand, I shudder to think at the fallout for Nexus if he had died. I mean, just going by some of the Facebook posts by fans on WWE Universe...some of these people are frightening. It's still real to them, dammit. Damn real.

Oh man, this is terrible. I hope Ricky gets better quickly and the doctors can control the bleeding.

Glad to hear he's ok.
After the last ten years, I'm not losing Ricky motherf****** Steamboat to a bran aneurysm.

Aneurysms aren't the sort of thing that just form from taking a bump one night. He's actually quite lucky they caught it before it popped. They can clip the aneurysm with a (relatively) simple neurosurgery depending on its size, and he'll do fine. When a brain aneurysm blows, it hurts about as bad as much as you can imagine pain being.

Does anyone know if Steamboat was legit hospitalised on Monday and if they released him?
This majorly sucks.

That's terrible news, but I'm very relieved to hear he's in good condition.
Ricky's one of the all-too-few guys who was level-headed enough to step back from the business before it destroyed his body, and it'd be devastating if he was badly hurt for one brief nostalgia appearance.

Whew, thank God he's alright.
Its a good thing this was caught at the point where he can be treated for it. Its amazing how close we came to what would have been wrestling's greatest loss thus far this year.
