Any other Carolina fans know the reason why Armanti Edwards has yet to suit up this year yet? I mean he was a second round pick and we gave up our second round pick for this season's draft because of him.
It looks like we even implemented a new offensive scheme just for him with the Mountaineer package that we were running in the pre-season.
I know he hasn't been able to adapt that well, but considering we gave up a high pick for him, I see no reason why we wouldn't even let him get some real game playing time.

Can someone explain the bye week to me. If its supposed to be a rest period for players why the hell is it as early as week 4. It should be a 4th of the league weeks 7-10. Even and fair enough.

I think starting the bye week in week 4 sucks too. But if it were only 4 weeks of byes it would be 8 teams per week. Fine with me, but not with the NFL. God forbid there's only 12 games on a week!

Next 4 games for the Broncos
@ Tennessee Titans
@ Baltimore Ravens
vs. New York Jets
vs. Oakland Raiders
I think all of them are winnable, but it'll be up to us to not beat ourselves and score when we get in the red zone.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Saints coach Sean Payton has not yet fully given up on K Garrett Hartley.
Payton is "fully aware" of Hartley's disappointing start, but last season's Super Bowl winning coach is a big fan of the former Oklahoma Sooner. Entering 2010, Hartley had made 91.7 percent of his career field goals. The Saints could sign free agent John Carney on Tuesday, and let him battle Hartley on the practice field this week for the right to start versus Carolina.
Beat writer Darin Gantt says the "Dwayne Jarrett era appears to be drawing to a close."
Jarrett was a healthy scratch Sunday as he has fallen behind sixth-rounder David Gettis. The Panthers could end up cutting Jarrett, who has just 35 catches in 31 career games.

I'm currently playing Franchise mode with the Jets in Madden 11 and after the first season the CPU signed up Hartley as a free agent to the Jets. And in few occasions I gotten him to kick 60+ yard field goals. And in reality he can't even kick 30 yarders. Come on Garrett if your VG model can kick'em you should too

Multiple waiver claims are expected to be placed on former Bills QB Trent Edwards before Tuesday's 4 PM deadline.
According to PFT, both the 49ers and Seahawks "like" Edwards. Chris Mortensen lists the Panthers, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Jets as other teams that could have interest. It's important to note that waiver priority will be determined by team's 2009 records.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Jahvid Best's (turf toe) ability to play in Week 4 will be dependent on Best's pain tolerance.
Colts president Bill Polian said on his weekly radio show Monday night that the NFL's expansion from a 16-game to an 18-game regular season is already a "done deal."
Polian, a member of the Competition Committee, referred to schedule expansion as a "fait accompli," meaning it's irreversible at this point. The plus side of the 18-game slate is that it eliminates two preseason games

Also not sure how big of an upgrade Trent Edwards would be anyway...
