I am hopeful he will reach the top of the WWE. I loved his match versus the Miz tonight. I think they had the best match of the night.

Sorry. It's just different for other boards. I am rather new to this one.

Frankly, I'm surprised this guy made it the US Championship. I want to know who he's got pictures of. He's the poster boy for Vanilla Midgets. Here's a guy that, when challenging for a major championship in the largest wrestling company in the world, looks exactly the same as he did when he was a jobber on Sunday Night Heat (or Velocity, or whatever the hell D-show it was). And that was how long ago? He didn't have it then, and he doesn't have it now. He's already been fired once! He got a shot at the biggest angle of the year and blew it! Royally! If Aloisia hadn't come along, this joker would be right up there with Braden Walker for shortest run in the company's history.
And now people are falling all over themselves talking about how this bland, uncharismatic nobody is the best in the business. Just because he's looked good in the ring the handful of times he's been on TV? Of course he has! He's in there with The Miz! He'll make anybody look like a million bucks. He could have a four star match with a broom! And hell, that broom would probably have more charisma than Daniel Bryan. They've got the same number of facial expressions.
"Watch his indy matches!" people say. "He was awesome in Ring of Whatever!" So what? Is that supposed to be a compliment? He's the best Bingo Hall Backyard performer in the world?" Great! Good for him! Maybe he should get himself back there and stop wasting everybody's time on Raw (and PPV, jeebus...). The Miz should have been done with this guy by the halfway point of NXT, but instead, he's been carrying him for like half the damned year.
Give me a break.

I don't understand it, either! I loved Brian Danielson in the indies. He was great on NXT. Every second he's been on Raw has been pure gold. I cheered when he won the belt last night. But the whole time he's on the screen being amazing, Michael Cole's talking about what a waste of space he is. I thought I wrote something about how I hope he makes it to the top (like CM Punk before him), but when I re-read the paragraph, it was shockingly negative! Damn you, Michael Cole! Stop confusing my brain!

To be fair if WWE was all about raw talent AJ Styles wouldn't have a crappy tattoo pretending to be Ric Flair right now.

He might have a chance at the Intercontinental title.
I really can't see him ever being World or WWE champion, though.

A chance at the I.C belt? A title equal to the one he just won after just coming back?

He is fortunate with the timing, HBK is gone, HHH, Rey, Kane, Undertaker and Jericho have at best 2-3 more years before they retire. Edge and Cena have nagging injuries.
The WWE really needs new main eventers in a hurry, and that is the main reason he was rehired and put straight into the summerslam ME and a title feud.
This is also the reason IMO for Stone Cold Randy Orton, the sudden ME pushes of Shemus and Swagger and more focus for the Miz/Macintrye as well as Del Rio making a strong impact.
For some reason this push for the midcard lads has eluded my favourite Christian but I sadly think his time has passed.

Not being sarcastic... but do you READ these boards? Half the guys would let DBD inseminate their wives for a kid who's half american dragon. and yet, despite the poll results being 5 to 1 in Dragon's favor, the percentage of comments in this thread saying "I hope so, he's boring" is at least 50/50. Why is that, I wonder? Because some of us were just fine to vote and be done with it, while others have to "justify" their vote... over and over and over again.

There is every possibility he will get to the very top. I think he will eventually need to go heel. It is easier to get over as a heel, especially when you have the in ring talent Bryan does. I could see him getting incredibly over as a 'holier than thou' Heel.

If only William Regal wasn't used for comedy skits with Goldust now adays. I'd love a feud between Bryan and Regal over the US Strap. Book it!
Suppose that despite Regal moving into the comedy side of things, it won't take much to get him back to a serious midcard role.

DBD will make a solid champion, won't do much to help the credibility of the U.S title, but that's because secondary titles are treated the same as participation trophies in bowling.

Given the crowd reaction when he won the title last night, the sky's the limit i'd say.

I'm amused more by the how the guys who hate him post waaaaaay more about him than the ones who like him. It's like some weird obsession. Human League should write a song about KooS.
