Most forms of metal - I can't listen to it for very long. I like Iron Maiden and Slayer and Anthrax and a few others but that's it.
Opera - I just don't understand singing like that for two hours.

I only listen to Rap/Hip-Hop, so anything other than that is my least favourite.

Any music that's not talking about sex, bling-bling, money and violence is terrible to me.

Mainstream country, I know of some more underground groups that I like, but the mainstream stuff just sounds like they're not even trying.

Super Heavy Growl Metal. It's unorganized headache inducing garbage. Thank you! If a typical drummer spent that amount of time making jazz/classical music beats as they do with "Brootal" metal, then he would kick ass for me.

Pretty much all metal, it makes me feel sick just listening to it.

I don't mind heavy music, as long it has a consistent rhythm or a Rush-style manipulation of time signature changes, but if all you hear is loud drums and cookie monster, then there is a problem. Not all of it is bad though, as I like Death, Opeth, Cannibal Corpse(Fisher era), and a few others, but there is a large amount of bands sounding exactly the same and I wonder why fans of that genre try to deem it superior to all other genres.

Because it's an acquired taste, like straight gin. Death Metal is a pool one wades into to appreciate, not dive straight in. There is more complexity to Death Metal (okay, good Death Metal) than first meets the ear. As for what I don't like, most of the really mainstream stuff from late 90's on just aren't my thing. Rock, Metal, Country, Pop, you name it - I probably don't care for it if it comes from the last decade or so. That said, I'll be honest when I say that "mainstream" is a really broad umbrella - I'm not "that guy" who only likes bands that are only known by 11 other people. Also, I rarely ask for someone to change a station playing music I don't like because I've found that if I listen to new stuff I may like it for a change, or else it only reinforces my tastes but sheds fresh perspective on top of it.

I absolutely hate metal or hard rock. There's absolutely no meaningful lyrics in either genre. It's mostly really agressive and I think it's the bottom of the music genre barrel.

Rap Nu Metal Metalcore Alternative Rock
I like everything else, be it Blues, Jazz, classical music, even some german schlager...though my favourites are real metal, hard rock, rock, progressive rock and everything in between from glam metal to black metal
