I think the Sting attack on RVD can easily be explained away as "Hey, Hulk brought you in, I thought you were with them" Fair enough... but then this asks the question -- why did Hogan bring RVD in, only to spend the next 5 months plotting on how to get rid of RVD? I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything -- I'm just a TNA fan who really wants to make sense out of it all for my own closure.

Even Sting, the ultimate babyface, has been saying for almost a YEAR now that Hogan/Bisch/Jarrett were no good. No, he wasn't. Sting was beating up random guys and telling us that he was really the good guy, but he never said in so many words "I am waging war on Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff because I know they are snakes, and I know this because they betrayed me in the past." THAT would have made sense. No, instead Sting went after Dixie Carter, who is supposed to be the victim in all of this. He went after Abyss, who was, for all he knew, Hogan's unwitting dupe. He went after RVD who, as it turned out, actually WAS Hogan's unwitting dupe. And for some reason, he thought that this would make everybody see Hogan was the bad guy. "Look at me manhandling this lady here! That PROVES Hogan is no good!" "Look at me beating up Hogan with a baseball bat and beating up his protege Abyss! That PROVES that they're no good!" "Look at me beating up RVD! Do you see me beating up RVD? Do you? ? DOES MY BEATING UP ROB VAN DAM NOT PROVE BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT WHAT A DECEPTIVE SCUMBAG HULK HOGAN IS? What do you mean it doesn't?! What are you people, morons?!" You know what would have gone a long way toward convincing people, Sting? A public accusation, and actual evidence.

I mean, if Sting ever actually said anything concrete it might make more sense, but he just talked a lot of shit for nine months. Half baked schemes go far in TNA.

I'm usually all about diversity of opinions, and everybody having their own tastes and preferences, but there is no excuse for defending this angle. It was objectively bad. You can still be a loyal TNA fan, but just accept that this was a terrible, terrible payoff for something they've been hyping for months as a moment that "WILL CHANGE TNA FOREVER!!!1!!".
Had this turn just happened out of the blue, without any explicit hype, it would've just been predictable and groan inducing, but this is "Vince is the higher power"-level idiocy.

Okay we now know Jeff Hardy is the Chosen One and possibly the wrestling leader of the group.
Hogan and Bischoff will be figure heads I'm sure.
Jarrett will probably be a figure head and part time wrestler.
Abyss will be the muscle and enforcer.
Personally I'd like to see them make the group about Jeff Hardy and less about Hogan/Bischoff/Jarrett. Maybe have Ink Inc. join the group and be the tag team of the group.(they could always bring London Brawling back as a face team to level out the heel/face stuff)
I wouldn't be surprised to see Gregory Helms show up and join the group. Maybe do a run in to help Hardy since he and the Hardys go way back.
I think Matt Morgan should turn on Fourtune and join THEY.
Also if Matt Hardy can get out of his WWE contract he is also a potential member. I'm guessing him hearing TNA was going to make Jeff into the leader of a new heel stable is what got him wanting to leave WWE and come in and do big business with TNA. I'm sure he has faith in Jeff being able to pull it off.
As for a name I would call them OMEGA. Like I said make it about Jeff Hardy and of course that is Matt and Jeff's old indy promotion from the late 90s.
So here are the members I'd put into OMEGA
OMEGA Jeff Hardy(Chosen One, Champion) Matt Hardy(second in command, that is if he can get into TNA in the next six months) Ink Inc.(Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal) Matt Morgan(muscle) Abyss(muscle) Gregory Helms(wrestler, maybe X Division)
Hogan(figure head, senior partner) Bischoff(firgure head, senior partner) Jarrett(owner of TNA again and senior partner)
So that is basically 7 wrestling members and three figure heads. Not too big like the NWO was but not too small to not be a threat either. It can be just 6 wrestlers until Matt Hardy can get out of his WWE contract which it looks like he is trying to do. I really believe this had a lot to do with him pulling all the recent stuff trying to get released.
For those that don't know The Hardys and their good friends, Shannon Moore and Greg Helms and a few others were huge NWO fans while on the road wrestling in the indys. I'm sure that had a lot to do with Jeff being in the leader role of this new group.
Here is a video of where I got that info. Might be some LANGUAGE

Anyone else find it unlikely two big heel groups are going to co-exist for more than a couple of weeks?
I get the feeling that within two months half the group will be babyfaces again.

I'm hoping they go ahead and reduce Fourtune down to the four core members and turn them face.(do that by having Matt Morgan turning on them and joining THEY) Then you can align them and Flair with Sting in a fight against this new heel faction.

Sting will eventually convinced Flair to help him rid TNA of Hogan and Bischoff... then Flair will turn on Sting after getting it done.

Now that it's all out there, Sting will go to his infallible Plan B against Hogan and Bischoff: joining forces with Ric Flair.

False doesn't invalidate his opinion, even if I don't completely agree with it.
