Now let me say I don't HATE Batista
But I also don't give two craps about him.
I didn't care when he turned on Trips, I didn't care when he beat Eddie and I didn't care when he beat Trips at WM
I just don't see his appeal. He dresses nice and acts like Warrior. Does a generic powerbomb is muscular and acts sarcastic.
Not great on the mic, not great in the ring.
I simply don't see the appeal. WWE is acting like Bret Hart is coming back or something with Batista
I don't hate him like John Cena but I don't see his appeal.

I don't think many of us see Steiner's appeal either.

I agree i really don't get batista at all. He was fine as the quiet monster/enforcer of evolution but i never saw him as a world champion. This mayb the worst thing I can say but i actually get Cena's appeal yet i really don't batista. Atleast Cena can talk Batista has zero mic skills

The only difference I see from a guy like Batista and ANY big guy like someone like A1 is that he turned on Trips

Well I guess I'll throw my hand in instead of bashing another wrestler. Sorry bout that, by the way.
I think Dave appeals to people because he's got kind of a "cool" normal manner that people can relate to instead of a heavily-gimmicked wrestler, but he still has the size and intensity that pro-wrestlers are known for. Obviously a lot of people still don't like him, but that's my guess on why a lot of people do. Others might just like any huge muscle-head that has a high impact move.

I think Batista is appropratly rated. He has been booked as a major player on Smackdown and thus is getting the return of a major player on Smackdown. I agree with the idea that Batista is decent in the ring/mic and not something that has never been seen before, but he is decent.

I like Batista. He has an intensity in the ring that someone like a Mark Henry or a Scott Stiner doesnt have. When He powerbombs someone it looks like it hurts.

That Powerbomb on Samoa Joe didn't look like it hurt? Im not buying a TNA ppv until they show me something worth watching on Impact. And im just using the powerbomb as an example. Batista does alot of very stiff looking intense moves

I do believe the ONLY reason Batista got anywhere was timing and luck. If he wasnt in Evolution, he would have gone nowhere. If they had done his story with Randy Orton instead of royally messing Orton up, it might have been differently as well. It was just the fact that people wanted to see him beat the crap out of Triple H after a while.
