Sorry I found this movie to be funny. Was it stupid? Yes. But it reminded me of all the 80's horror flicks. Unlike ones of today that are so over the top this one was campy, which for me made it entertaining.

It needed a better director. Granted, it wasnt as bad as Æon Flux, so there was improvement there. Diablo Cody was a one trick pony. Do you mean One Hit Wonder? In that case its kind of early to tell dont you think?

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't see what's so hot about Meagan Fox. I'll admit she is attractive, but she looks like she's really sticky and dirty. I don't know why.

I found it on sale during Halloween and got it. Have yet to watch it though. My dad and I both agree that it sounds more like a porno movie title and Megan Fox sounds like a porno actress.

At the time, I didn't care for it all that much. Upon seeing it on dvd further down the road, I really came to appreciate it.

Do you mean One Hit Wonder? In that case its kind of early to tell don't you think? I think he means a one-trick pony. She writes highly-polished hipster dialogue, and that seems to be about it. So the three-dimensional, grounded yet unpredictable characters, the slowly unraveling, naturally occurring plot, the subtle nuances that emerged from each situation and the emotionally involving arc that emerged in Juno didn't actually exist? I just imagined that? It really was just a teenage girl standing in front of the screen sprouting pop culture references for two hours? Sorry, I didn't realize. Rainn Wilsons characters was irritating and unbelievable but he wasn't the whole movie.

You obviously missed my beer fueled thread about the movie, where I dipped into my Monday Night Raw beer stash to watch this one early Monday Afternoon. If you had, you would have avoided it at all costs.
And now you know ... and knowing is half the battle.

Actually... yeah, that's pretty much how Juno came across to me. I didn't get the emotion you did, it was mostly hipster dialogue from all the characters surrounding the brief emotional sequences like an oreo with half as much frosting as normal.
If you like it, fantastic. All the power to you, I do not believe my opinion is any more valid than yours or that the way I feel about the movie is correct and yours is wrong. You are completely and totally entitled to think I'm wrong for thinking differently about it. But that's just how I took it at the end.
But for Diablo Cody... her dialogue is her schtick. It's what she's known for, and her major characters in all of her movies I've seen tend to act the same way.

Yeah, I tried watching Juno. About halfway through I gave up. There's more nothing in that movie than in just about any other movie I've ever seen. And that's really saying something, 'cause I watch a LOT of crap.
