Not fuzzy elf!!!!! Time to wikipedia the details........ {Spoiler}The tragic saga of “Three” has come to an end in the pages of FANTASTIC FOUR #587—and The Human Torch has fallen. John Storm sacrificed himself so that his niece and nephew as well as his best friend, The Thing, could escape the Negative Zone. {Spoiler} Now i'm behind on my comics and all but cant you just like get stuck in the negative zone? Or is it killer now & one can survive in it if they are human? I bet he somehow escapes and that is how he returns {Spoiler}As I said I'm behind on my comics but did Torch lose the ability to fly? Seems like a good way to avoid being trampled.

If he's in the Negative Zone, there's really no place to fly to; at best he'd escape only to be hunted down later.

Bring back Luke Cage. He was FF before he was Avengers.

Death is a little different than being trapped in the Negative Zone. Oh, and if they need a 4th member, what is She Hulk up to these days. Spider Man in FF sounds kind of interesting but he has a lot of other stuff going on. Not that I care about She Hulk, I just remember her being a part of the team at one time. For all I know, she is dead too. I still have this action figure

I have no shame/ didn't notice that it had been tagged, the way's quoted. But point taken, I'll go back to reading Captain America, as it's still the only Marvel book I read.

No worries, just didn't want folks getting spoiled. If you like Cap, give Secret Warriors a try, it is almost done now, but it is self contained espionage. You might also like SHIELD, which has nothing to do with old school SHIELD and is a new beast that stars Leonardo DiVinci and other historical geniuses and, well, telling much gives it away.

Hmm.. may have to give em a shot. It's rare that I get into superhero books nowadays, but I'm always open to something new for an issue or two.
My buying has REALLY tapered off in the last couple of years.

Neither is really a superhero book, that is why I suggested them for a Cap reader. They are more intrigue and cloak and dagger stuff. You may like Brubaker's Incognito too. It is about a supervillain who ends up in witness protection. Pretty rad stuff. Cassanova by Matt Fraction is pretty good too, and damned near impossible to explain or understand at times.

I remember when Knuckles died in Sonic #118. At the time I thought it was a big deal, since they killed off Knuckles, my second favorite character besides Sonic. And then he was resurrected in Sonic #125, which was a total of 8 months later. Funny thing is, Locke, Knuckles' father, didn't tell Sonic and the Freedom Fighters until issue 124. It's like, "Yeah, there's a giant alien threat coming to kill us, and oh yeah, Knuckles is dead." He doesn't even tell them until Sonic mentions Knuckles.

LOL, oh wow, I just saw a video made by the Associated Press. They are treating this like a big deal. The way they speak in the video makes it seem like this is the first time EVER that a member of the Fantastic Four were killed. Never mind that both Reed Richards and The Thing went six feet under before.

Cool, though when I said superhero, I guess I meant more Marvel/DC.. though given your recommendation, I'll have to check em out.

I can see the hubbub back in '93 for Superman; but since then, you'd think they'd have learned.

Wait, there's a second Annihilation Wave...and JOHNNY STORM stops it by himself? The first Annihilation Wave had the power to enslave Galactus and turn him into a weapon, but the Human Torch can hold this one off? Bleh.

Woah woah woah. They killed off my favorite member of the team?! HOW DARE THEY KILL OFF NIGHTCRAWLER!? oh and should have been Reed. He's the only one of the 4 that I don't really like. Left 4 Dead beat them to it with the Passing incidently

Reed has become awesome under Hickman.
And Snips, not only should you tag that is spoilers, it isn't an accurate representation of what happened.

So what happened to Nightcrawler? {Spoiler}A human/sentinel hybrid anticipated where he was going to teleport and stuck his arm out, impaling him. He then teleported away to save the then current plot device of the series.
