Yeah, Recessions are called "Corrections" for a reason.
Those Extreme Soft Drink Commericals where everyone would scream for like 30 seconds.

There's not really much about the 90's that I don't like (even the crap from back then was better than most of what's out there today).
Music:
Nirvana Alice In Chains Soundgarden Sublime No Doubt
TV: Alternative Nation with Kennedy (MTV music videos show) Batman: The Animated Series Beavis & Butthead Daria Doug Ren & Stimpy Salute Your Shorts Tiny Toon Adventures Howard Stern on E!
Movies: Forest Gump Clerks Mallrats Chasing Amy Scream I Know What You Did Last Summer Gaming: The 16 bit console wars (both SNES and Genesis had alot of great games) Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 Street Fighter 2 and it's upgrades

Colors being bright and, well, colorful, instead of all sleek and subdued (think: Saved By The Bell opening credits. The heavy use of pinks and blues and yellows).
Acid-washed jeans.
Hell, I'll just echo what someone else said up there: The 90's. God I miss those days.

The lack of reality shows. YES!! I absolutely loathe the downturn that TV took once Survivor took off. The 90's had some KICKASS TV. Nickelodeon (basically all of it) Boy Meets World. Daria Beverly Hills 90210 Roseanne Friends (the first 3-4 years of that show were the best of any series, no matter what revisionist history tells you) EDIT: Also, music wasnt the miserable pile of shit that it is now

I love the ninties, in the next few years the decade will become popular again, much like how everyone shit over the 80's in the 90's but now looks at it with fond nostalgia x
