Tonight's results from the WCBA (World Championship Basketball Association):
Eddie Guerrero defeated The NWO. Being led tonight by Hogan (LeBron), it seemed as though the NWO would get an easy win after gaining control early on. But Eddie fought back late, being assisted by an NWO cold streak, and hit the Frog Splash on Nash to get the victory (Chicago over Miami 93-89).
Rick Steiner squashed Sting. To be fair, Sting was out of it, as though he wasn't completely there tonight. Sting had a decent start, but then Rick fought back to even things up, then he easily pulled away late, hitting the Diving Bulldog to win his first official match sans Scott (Denver over Boston 89-75).
Also, title again modified to note the longest active winning streak.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Bulls. SUCK IT, LEBRON!! More like "Suck it, Bosh!!" cause he didn't do jack. He only made one shot in the entire game out of 18 attempts. He even missed the good open look shots that he had during the game. At least a dozen of his shots were as wide open as you can be. Not even a hand coming at his face. Taking nothing away from the Bulls because they're clearly for real, but if Bosh even hits 33% of his shots the Heat win this game. On no one's shoulders but Bosh's tonight. A big man (even if he's a mid range player) going 1-anything over 10 is ridiculous.

Nash didn't feel like working tonight, I guess.

How very Minnesota Vikings of you... KBerg_CBS O.J. Mayo stays in Memphis. Grizzlies and Pacers couldn't come to agreement before deadline, source says. Mike Wells is claiming the deal died because Memphis pulled out right before the deadline Personally, I'm glad the deal didn't get done. Mayo's a good player, but he lacks the method of playing that could help out the Pacers, and McRoberts can still be a good starter/reserve that they can keep on the cheap. As for Boston, that's a real big puzzler. I mean, you get rid of a key player to make a point, and what point is that?

LOL, the Nuggets fans are chanting "Who needs Melo?" Brilliant. That was glorious. I love it when a team trades a player and then the fans just think that that player did nothing for them If Chris Bosh is Kevin Nash, then I believe we have our "Fingerpoke of Doom": Pfft. I say Booser's armpits were so fragrant, they knocked Bosh down. ;D

So, who do you guys think are the winners and losers for this year's trade deadline(and by deadline, I'm counting the entire week leading up to today, so the Knicks, Nuggts, Nets, and Jazz all count for their trades earlier in the week)? I have to say the biggest overall winner has to be the Thunder, and it isn't because they are my team. I think they are the overall winners for making probably the most logical trades(for them) out of all the teams that did do trades. They may have dumped some talent(Jeff Green), but they also dumped 3 of their 4 expiring contracts, and grabbed two quality Centers, one of them proven at shutting down other Centers. My other winners have to be Portland and Memphis. Portland and Memphis got away with highway robbery, if you ask me. They grabbed Wallace and Battier, respectively, for chump change. Hell, Memphis was able to convince Houston to take f***ing Hasheem Thabeet(plus a pick) for Battier! As for the losers, oh man, there were quite a few losers this year. Until further notice, Boston is the biggest loser this year. They walked out today DOWN three players, and until we see what they'll do with their new found roster slots, they made the worst moves. Never mind the fact that they gave up the only real reason Orlando and Miami weren't threats to them. Other losers for me were the Jazz and Bobcats. It is too soon for me to say if the Knicks made a truly bad trade, so that is a wait and see thing for me. Bobcats got two first round picks, shaved a ton of money and really only lost guys who would have left/become ineffective before they are truly ready to compete. Not seeing where they lost much they weren't going to anyway..and gained a nice footing for the future.

RealGM.com through Mike Wells of the Indy Star reports that the proposed OJ Mayo trade also involved New Orleans, but the Hornets pulled out(Hornets would have gotten Brandon Rush).

"some people never seize to amaze me". Nicely done, Melo. Now you definitely don't look like a dunce. Twitter has been great for some athletes, as it opens the curtain for the common folk and shows us exactly what these superstars are thinking. However, if there's one negative in the existence of Twitter, it's that we're finding out just how uneducated some of our favorite athletes are. I don't want to know that Carmelo Anthony doesn't know the difference between the words "seize" and "cease". I want to think of him as someone who is at least somewhat intelligent.

The Warriors are hesitating to buy out the contract of Troy Murphy, and it seems there is a chance they will keep him after all.

lots of trouble for the knicks already and we're only in the first quarter LOL, same with the Heat, continuing their cold streak tonight. And the refs screwed them out of a clear out-of-bounds call by the Wizards.
