Shawn's crotch chops appear to be more like stomach chops. As an aside, how in the blue hell are they going to be 'degenerates' with Shawn's religious beliefs?

I've been asking this question since this whole damn thing started with just the so-called "rumors" that DX would return. We have the return of the anti-establishment faction headed by a born-again Christian and a man who got to the top by marrying the boss's daughter.

Yep. It won't last long. Enjoy it while you can but it's just another vehicle to excuse those two old guys hogging the spotlight during their next feud when they turn on each other.

He won't even say 'suck it'. He needs trips or the crowd to say it for him.
I don't get why playing a character who crotch chops and says 'suck it' is against his beliefs. Sure, he won't do those things in real life, but wrestling isn't real life Shawn....

Shawn wearing a woman's shirt and telling a man to suck his stomach is a bit disturbing.
About the irony regarding who is involved in DX, remember, HHH is not married to Steph on television. Everyone else's personal life gets put into an angle at some point (Flair's road rage, Shawn's religion, Edge/Matt/Lita, etc), but no one....I repeat NO ONE....can EVER mention HHH marrying the boss's daughter on television. Ever. It's in the company handbook, rule #17, right behind rule #16 that states "any babyface that feuds with Hunter must talk about how great he is during promos".
Hopefully DX is a one night thing.

Maybe DX will also get their own show and get buried like ECW.

The closest they ever came to mentioning it was when preggo Steph ran into HHH and they said 'Hi' to each other while looking lovingly into each other's eyes. I loved the original DX and will enjoy this as long as it lasts, but I DO NOT need to see another Shawn/Trips feud.

Actually Edge referred to Vince as HHH's 'old man' when there was that threeway Edge vs HHH vs Cena promo just after wrestlemania.
But I don't think it makes much sense to make anything other than tiny references to it. After all, they are divorced in kayfabe. HBK prays before his matches, we can all see that, so it makes perfect sense for it to be used in an angle. Flair going crazy at someone in real life is a pretty damn good match for his character I reckon! So again, makes sense, especially since he was feuding with Edge, given Edge's penchant for breaking kayfabe. Edge/Matt/Lita was ignored until the crowd started chanting for hardy. They were pretty much forced to make that an angle.
HHH and Steph can stay in the background- I don't think it's helpful for either Steph or HHH's characters for them to be together onscreen.

The closest thing i ever saw was when Hunter slipped up and called Vince "dad" after Vince made the Cena/HBK vs. HHH/Shane match 2 weeks before WM22. Of course i may be mistaken.

I think this DX will be a little different than the original. Based off what I saw at the Vengeance press conference, it looks like HHH will be playing the prankster while HBK plays the straight man.

Why can't people just enjoy DX (like everyone in the crowd is doing) and not just complain about every little thing about it? I really don't understand wrestling fans sometimes. HHH isn't in the main event scene at the moment, yet you're still complaining about something else. HBK is entertaining, and doing something different than he's done for the past couple of years, and you're complaining.
So the real question (and one which won't be answered, i'm sure) is this.....
What, exactly, what you do instead? What would you rather the WWE do with them? What would you rather HBK do? Please, armchair bookers, enlighten me.

^I wasn't really complaining. I just thought Shawn's stomach chops were funny. I also wonder how they can pull this off with Shawn thumping a Bible.
But I LOVE DX and couldn't be happier they're back (the real DX, not X-Pac, NAO, Tori, and Steph).
