THE CHAMP IS HEEEERE this pic.....is so effin awesome I'm....completely numb. I have been fortunate to see them win 2 Super Bowls in my lifetime, but the first time they won I was only about 9 years old, and while I was happy, I still didn't understand the game fully and what not. Now that I'm an adult I've been following them religiously and I'm so stoked right now Now, WWE HAS to get Rodgers onto RAW or SD this week. They are in Wisconsin....pretty sure SD tapings will be in Green Bay to be specific. Get him on there, get him the BELT. Make it happen!

Aaron Rodgers became just the 4th QB to throw for at least 300 yds. 3 tds. & no ints. in a Super Bowl, the other 3 were Joe Montana(SB XIX), Steve Young(SB XXIX) & Jake Delhomme(SB XXXVIII). One of these things is not like the others. Yeah, Aaron Rodgers was taken in the 1st round of the NFL Draft. None of the other 3 were taken in the 1st round. Hell, Young went in the Supplemental Draft, because he went to the USFL and Delhomme was undrafted.

Not the best game in Superbowl history, but definitely one of the best end results! The national anthem was botched, the halftime show was one of the worst I've ever seen, and even the majority of the commercials sucked (apart from little Darth Vader, that was gold!)
Very happy with the end result though, and it says a lot about the mental toughness of the Packers that they held on to win after losing key players to injuries like that. Having said that, they've shown that they have been hard to beat all year - they didn't lose by more than 4 points in any game all season, which is rare these days. Imagine what they'll be like when everyone is healthy again...
Oh, and congrats to Aaron Rodgers for winning a Superbowl ring, a car, and a shiny gold belt all in one night!

As a 49ers fan, I can kinda compare Aaron Rodgers winning the Super Bowl to Steve Young winning the Super Bowl. They both played second fiddle to legends for seasons and when they were finally given the opportunity to prove to the world that they were 'the man', they did it and they did it with huge performances (obviously Rodgers SB performance can't match up to Steve's). Good for the guy that could have been a 49er had our management not been so foolish. Ironically, one of your management that thought Smith was better was Mike McCarthy.

The Packers "Welcome Home" celebration will be on Tuesday in Lambeau at the SAME TIME as Smackdown taping at the Resch Center across the street.

Yeah Smackdown in Green Bay on Tuesday. I imagine they'll be going from the Return to Titletown event (which I will be attending) and then right to Smackdown. Should be doable as the celebration should be close to wrapping up by the time Smackdown starts taping. WWE is definitely working the phones right now.

WWE will almost certainly get most of the Packers in for SmackDown. Certainly Rodgers.

Following the Super Bowl, Hines Ward strongly reiterated that he will not be retiring this offseason.
The Bears will cut Chester Taylor this offseason, a source tells CSNChicago.com.
The Titans are expected to announce the hiring of offensive line coach Mike Munchak as their new head coach early this week, according to the Tennessean.

Apparently Aaron Rodgers just verbally owned Colin Cowturd on the air. I'm sorry I missed this, but that would require listening to his garbage.

Yeah, he said: "Now I hope I can live up to your standards of being an elite QB" It was pretty funny Not the best game in Superbowl history, but definitely one of the best end results! Not only did they not lose by more than 4 points in a game all season, they also never trailed by more than 7 points in any game this season. First time that's happened since I believe 1962

Weird rumors flying, per PFT:
Saints denied a rumor that coach Sean Payton would leave and become the GM for the Cowboys, which originated from Payton building a house in the Dallas area and further fueled by defensive coordinator Gregg Williams declining opportunities to interview for the Denver and Tennessee head coaching jobs.
Another rumor that has been denied by sources has Eagles coach Andy Reid leaving and being replaced by Jon Gruden.
