I would like to see him as a GM, or maybe a Raw Sheriff again.

GM would be cool but i think he would get bored of it pretty quickly. Although as a GM he can miss a week here and there hasn't a lot if it with him been not traveling so much so he can be with his family? Announcer would be pretty awesome though.

Hopefully if he does come back he'll be involved in the booking process with HHH. It would probably be good.

"I hate Bret Hart" I mean...it'd make sense except for the fact that the two made up on screen. It'd be really douchey of Shawn to suddenly decide he still hates the man. No. That match was amazing. And I'm a guy that appreciates stuff like Misawa vs. Kawada. Would the match have somehow been better if there was 10 minutes of chin locks interjected? Not particularly, it was an average match as it was, but if any two guys OTHER than HBK and 'Taker had had that match, they'd have been ripped to shreds for having "no psychology" and just going "spot, nearfall, spot, nearfall" ad nauseum. I thought the match had a great psychology to it, which was Michaels's desperation. All the submission holds, the big moves, it was two guys that knew it was going to take a hell of a lot to beat the other man, and both pulled out all the stops from the jump. It fit with the angle leading up to it, not every match has the same type of "psychology".

Shawn is my favorite of all time and I love his matches, but I hope he doesn't comeback as an in ring performer. I really hope he does what he said he'd do and stays with his kids until they're teens and when they don't want to be around him anymore he'll come back.
I think a creative team with Triple H & Shawn could bring back some of that old school feel mixed with the new school production vaules and other stuff.

HBK's teasing coming back out of retirement. I am shocked and awed. [/obvious sarcasm] If he does come back, can we stop pretending that the retirement match was this all-time, era defining classic, instead of the overly long spot-fest that it was? Nowhere did he say he'd be *wrestling*. So, until the day he steps foot into the ring and wrestles, why dont we give the guy the benefit of the doubt?

Wow, jumping the gun there. I very much doubt HBK will be a complete dick like Flair was with his retirement. I watched back the send off and Flair's HOF speech the other day, what a piss take that man has become.

HBK vs. Taker will become a WrestleMania best-of-seven series.
And Undertaker will sweep in four matches.

Even as the biggest HBK mark alive i can say there's no purpose of him coming back (in-ring) & ruining the moment short of a feud with The Rock or Brock Lesnar.

I'm still surprised that people get so worked up over the Flair thing. It makes me wonder if I'm the only person who has paid attention to retirements in wrestling over the years. They are practically never permanent. Even at the time, I viewed it as Flair's retirement from wrestling full-time. And it's been that. Yes, I know they never said that. I just kind of figured, given how retirements in wrestling usually go when they don't involve a serious injury. And I was right.

Flair gave hundreds of promos during his career claiming that he would "never retire." Suddenly he give one good retirement promo and people believed it.
lolololololol Flair can wrestle for as long as he damn well wants in my opinion. So can Shawn.

Why are people getting so worked up?People retire from jobs, they can be brought back later. It happens all the time in every line of work.
Why do wrestlers have to retire aged 40-45 and live off that money for the rest of their lives? It's a ridiculous notion and one that "in real world terms" is completely stupid. People here seem to be upset that Shawn is going back on his word, why? He only retired in keyfabe and since you guys dump so heavily on keyfabe every week, why should his word mean anything?

Not to mention how it ended with Michales openly mocking Taker, as if to say 'give me your best', and refusing to know when the battle is lost. Sorta symbolic for HBK I thought.

I could see him in some sort of office job for the company, or ambassador role towards the media. He would also work well as a time-to-time commentator or as a temporary (1 to 6 months) for the Cole storyline to progress or Lawler to retire/vacation or something like that.
I absolutely don't seem him coming back to wrestle- his health isn't that great and I would like to believe that he values the retirement a lot more than Flair. As well, I don't think he's wanting to do all the daily/weekly travel and spending so much time away from his family.
