I'll present both arguments - you decide:
TRUE: WWE Creative scours the web for feedback and ideas on their programming. There have been multiple instances of stories/ideas getting posted on this board that have later shown up on WWE TV. Previous employees of WWE have posted here in the past, so clearly this site is on WWE's radar.
FALSE: It's purely coincidence that stories/ideas that get posted here show up on WWE TV. Millions of people watch WWE programming, so chances are pretty high that multiple people have the same ideas. The observations that devoted fans like us make are probably similar to some observations made by those in the inner circle of WWE. How many times have you gone into a topic to post something, only to find that another poster already had the same idea? It works the same way between us and WWE Creative at times.

Some of us might even actually work for the WWE and elicit reactions from people in order to gauge the general trends and thoughts of the online community of fans.
Or not.

I think it's false, and I'll add a couple more points on that matter. WWE runs such a hectic schedule that they don't have time to poke around the web for ideas and read everything that's written. There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of wrestling forums out there. Some are way more popular and active than this one. What makes our board so special in their eyes? If they were to read anything, it would be their own official forums.
(a quick Google search of "WWE Forum" lists this site on the third page of their results. There's so much stuff on the WWE out there that there's no way they can keep track of it all.)

A lot of wrestlers have admitted to being fans.

Our WWE boards have over 100 viewers almost all the time. Somethings might be by chance like Batista with a basketball. But the Santino Shockmaster skit featuring an Anderson doing the voice is so insidery that it had to be a nod to WC.

While I want to say false. I'll always have my doubts due to that match, the night that the Lakers/Nuggets game meant that Raw had to be moved out of Denver, and Batista came out with a basketball. No one else had a basketball with them, even though they all had jerseys. Not only that but it was during the height of the Batista photoshop era here.

They know enough about us to sic their legal department on us and they hire people specifically to go to forums and news sites to gauge their reaction to things, so it would not shock me if they had gotten an idea or two from here. How does one get hired to read forums for the WWE? I want that job.

They might, and if they would use some of our ideas, personally it would make me proud. Now, I recall personally mentioning parkour as a possible gimmick and someone imediately added that it would be a good one for Morrison. And now he has it. Coincidence? Might be. But it still makes me feeling... less ignored.

They know we exist, so it wouldn't surprise me if they've been "inspired" by us at least once, or at least given us a little nod. Like Batista with the basketball.

I post on the NXT chat as "Percymania" and I've gotten Fink to respond to some of my questions. Does he know who I am? Does he know I post here? I doubt it. If WWE is seeing this - give us a less subtle nod of acknowledgement. Like, I want to hear someone use the words "wrestle" and "crap" in the same sentence somehow. It should be easy finding a way to do this on NXT.
