I'd like to say that I'm surprised, but sadly I am not. This, sadly the E hasn't used MVP properly, imho, for about three years or more now. I remember how excited I was when MVP was first traded to RAW & entered into a fantastic feud with the at the time top dog of Raw HHH a few years back, then nothing Creative just seemed to have forgotten MVP most of the time. MVP deserved way better & if pushed correctly I will always contend that MVP could have been one of the E break out stars of his era, and I hope he eventually comes back strong or else finds his neich at ROH and/or TNA, Japan.

Cena made fun of him tonight, saying that if he remained fired he could have a little talk show with some carpet and lounge chairs. Maybe Cena was a guy that wasn't fond of MVP and contributed to his lack of upward mobility.

That's really pathetic if that's true but I'm not surprised because WWE has a history of doing things like that to people who leave their company.

I always liked MVP.....hugely underrated talent.
He's a guy who made mistakes when he was younger. Changed his life. Earned his way up in the indies. Only to get limbo pushes.
WWE needs to quit doing that to talent. It makes them look incompetent.
I don't see him going to TNA....he'll head south or something (not South Beach mind you). His criminal background is going to prevent him from going to certain places but he'll make due I'm sure.

Smackdown: {Spoiler}Swagger's mascot does the Ballin' Elbow on Hornswoggle, so I think they're just kind of burying MVP since he quit without doing a job on his way out.

Hell the man lost in a tag match and was attacked by Kane afterwards. What more do they want?

Actually, since he said lounge chairs, and not couches, I'm more inclined to call this a Carlito shot (Carlito's Cabana) than an MVP shot. The VIP Lounge had leather couches. EDIT: I really don't think it was a direct shot at anyone. Just a rib at anyone with a wrestling talk show segment.

At least he had a huge crowd reaction at Survivor Series before he got the ax, that must've been the proudest moment of his WWE career.

Matt Hardy and Tommy Dreamer on the same show? Those poor caterers.
