ECW ONS2 was amazing. The Foley/Edge VS Dreamer/Funk match stole the show. It was bloody violent, funny and great. Cool ending to.
The main event was good too. Cena did better than I was expecting and the crowd made this one. The finish was a little crappy, but oh well. I'm interested to see how this will play out.
all in all let me just say this:
EC F'n W!

The PPV was interesting at parts, though I think the Eugene segment was a bit unnecessary.
And Balls/Masato was dissapointing as it was short and it took 1 chair shot to put the guy down, when last year he took like 10 stiffer ones from Mike Awesome.

Just talking nuts and bolts ONS II was better for the sheer fact that it told stories. Last year was designed as a stand alone nostalgia show and for what it was that is great but completely insignificant overall. ONS II is history making for several reasons.

Perhaps, but that's your opinion on it, not everyone feels that way. Unless Angle/Orton, Foley/Edge vs. Dreamer/Funk, Tazz/Lawler and Sabu/Rey will continue I don't see any real continuity after this show. But I do see the WWE/ECW feud continuing as I don't think the new ECw could stand on it's own.

Looks like I'm in the minority (big suprise) but I enjoyed the show last night. I was disappointed with Lawler/Tazz, but not as disappointed as I would have been if Lawler went over clean. The Sabu/Rey ending was not that great, but luckily for the E it happened after a spot that looked like it could have split Rey-Rey's little noggin' open.
RVD-Cena was a fun match, and RVD didn't tap in the center of the ring.
Balls/Tanaka was alot shorter than I thought it would be, but considering the chair almost broke in half over Tanaka's head, I'll give him a pass on it being only one chairshot instead of thge usual 500.
Overall, a very enjoyable show, and I'm glad they're restarting ECW. I hope it turns into something enjoyable week in and week out, as I haven't really watched much wrestling in about 3 years now. I'm not expecting anything earth shattering, but I'm definetly giving them the benefit of the doubt on things for a few weeks.

Actually, you're not in the minority as nearly most enjoyed it, but said that it wasn't PPV of the year. If you enjoyed it, that's good enough, you shouldn't worry about what others think.

ONS II ended the Angle/Orton feud so it did it's part of making Angle's clean break from WWE so that he can be a mainstay in ECW. Ditto for the tag match. ONS II was telling stories but mostly ending them though I highly doubt we've seen the last of RVD/Cena. It won't be tonight and I don't think it will even be at Vengeance but sometime in the future they'll come back to that one.

Cena crucified for all the sins of Sports Entertainment, TNN, and Eric Bischoff. How could you not love it?

Cena looked about as natural and comfortable on the top rope as Bush near a black person. I just got to say, in retrospect, LINE OF THE MOMENT OF THE NIGHT! If I didn't have a feeling I'd catch flack for it, I'd use that in my sig.

I just got done watching it, and I give it an 8. Comparing it to last year is unfair, but everyone else is doing it, so i will too. If last year's was a 10, which it was to me, than this is a solid 8. It was entertaining the entire time, which is far more than I can say for any other WWE ppv I have seen lately. Far more entertaining than WrestleMania IMO. So 8.

Another part that could've been taken off the show was JBL's promo that he was going to Smackdown, it was rather pointless and it could've been used for the opener on Friday.

No need to thank me, I was pleased to help, just that it sounded like everyone should have thought that way from your posts, that's all. ONS2 was telling stories, I guess, but wasn't that what Styles was trying to escape?lol I think I'll order Vengeance instead this time around.
