I've got some work to do, but I want a horror movie on in the background - could someone recommend me something horrific but that doesn't need too much concentration. I don't like cheesy, and grim suits me very well.

I would say Last Horror Movie is pretty good. It's about a serial killer who documents his murders so it comes off feeling real. I know you just want it as background noise, but still an interesting watch.

- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - Hellraiser - Phantasm - Bloodsucking Freaks I shoulda explained - if it's a big name horror from more than a year or so back, I've seen it. I was looking for more obscure stuff on Netflix. Hells, TCM is possibly my favorite movie.

Have you seen Let Me In yet? No, is it good? I'd like to see the original, also.

Zombi 2
Pretty much my recommendation anytime anyone asks for horror.

Zombi 2 Pretty much my recommendation anytime anyone asks for horror. I may have seen it 20 times - I'd say that it's better than the House by the Cemetery, but takes a back seat to The Beyond and City of the Living Dead (which I am aware both have different names in the USA)

Have you seen Eden Lake? recent Brit horror about a couple being terrorized by unruly teens, brilliant.
My other recommendation would be The Children, brilliant movie about how terrifying little kids can be.
you were asking, Let me in is not bad, but I prefer let the right one in by a long shot.

I'd recommend the original Amityville Horror as well. That film literally made me sleep with the lights on for about a week.

Loved Eden Lake, scared the crap outta me - I knew kids like that. I think The Children might be a good choice for me. Erm.. I have Galaxy of Terror.
