As a guy who has a total hardon for Simon Pegg/Nick Frost films, this movie just looks 8 kinds of awesome. Not sure what they're doing in what appears to be the American Southwest, though.

Looks very funny. Took me a couple of times through the tv spots to recognize Seth Rogen as the voice of Paul.

I can't wait to see it, though I'm not totally sold on Seth Rogen voicing Paul. I'm getting very, VERY, sick of him.

I'm all about this movie. LOVE Pegg and Frost, and Rogans pretty funny. Been anticipating this since I first saw the trailer a few months ago.

I saw it last week. It's a little bit disappointing to be honest. Don't go in expecting Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz because it doesn't even compare to them (even if it is a different Director).
Pegg and Frost are as likeable together as always but the best thing about the film is Paul himself. He's by far the best character and Seth Rogen (who I can take or leave) does a great job of the voice work.
It's not a bad film, it's good. But after their previous films together set such a high standard, this one falls a bit flat.

Did you get that feeling from this one?

It's got a great cast to boot. Besides Simon, Nick, and Seth, you also have Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Chris Parnell. Hopefully, it's going to be a hoot. I have a lower expectation, since Edgar Wright had nothing to do with it, but it still looks damn funny.

Did you get that feeling from this one? Oh yeah, but that's not really the problem in this film. A lot of the jokes involving their characters are a bit crap really. Like there's a joke that people think they're gay lovers. That was hinted at in the films with Edgar Wright and Spaced but no one ever needed to say "are you two gay?", here it's said by at least two characters.

And I'm wrong again, Chris Parnell isn't in the movie, it was Joe LoTruglio as the other FBI agent.

I'm just wondering why I'm reminded of Roger the Alien from American Dad whenever I see or hear Paul the Alien.

Im wondering how many parents are going to ignore the R rating and take their kids because of the CGI alien (hey, if parents took their kids to stuff like watchmen and kick ass,,).

How can any parent mistake Kick-Ass for a kids movie? Just look at the title, it gives it away that it's not intended for children!

Who knows. Maybe Seth Rogen can be amusing provided I don't actually have to look at him.
I'll wait for reviews.

Been a fan of pretty much everything Simon Pegg has done so I definitely want to see this at some point. Although I'm not sure it will live up to SOTD or Hot Fuzz I'm sure I will enjoy it all the same.
