I can't wait to see how Oklahoma State does this year. Just like their football team, but basketball team is predicted to do pretty badly, but just like the football team, the Cowboys grabbed quite a few good recruits, so they should be competitive. I still see them being one of the top 5 teams in the Big 12 this year. I'd say Baylor, Kansas, and K-State place in front of them, though.

Hope we can beat them (though I won't be able to see it in person.) They're ranked that highly because of "experience". Never mind that the only thing they're experienced at is being mediocre. Two straight NITs, then stole a 10 seed from MSU at the end of last season. Maybe the overall field has fallen off that hard since all those players went in droves to the NBA draft after last season, but jeez. Stretch much?

URI looking decently at times but I think they'll make too many mistakes.

I am a big Tar Heel fan but I think their ranking was too high. I know they have a great recruiting class coming in but they were an NIT team last year and played very sloppy basketball and three new players aren't going to make them that much better. I think they can reach the Sweet Sixteen but thats it.

Great game to start the season on. #4 Pitt wins by 8 but it was a dog fight until the final minute.

Ah Oregon.... You and your crazy sports ... That is their new court design for this year. I really like that... I wish more teams would get custom floors to be honest.

Ah Oregon.... You and your crazy sports ... That is their new court design for this year. That looks like they spilled a bucket of paint on the floor and they decided to just paint the Oregon logo over it.

Rick Pitino has not had a great 18 months. The Karen Sypher incident went to trial, and Rick had to testify in court that he had sex with her for 15 seconds and he let it "run down his leg". Then he has his 3rd year center, knowing he was going undrafted, leave because he didn't want to deal with UL any longer. Then Rick was in position to have the #2 recruiting class in 2011, only for Tony Wroten to go to Washington, Rodney Hood to go to Mississippi State, and Deuce Bello/Quincy Miller to go to Baylor. Not to mention the constant threat of Calipari and UK dominating him.
So after this controversial and stress filled year, how does Rick maintain his composure and show UL is still on track to be fine? He accepts a transfer from Wake Forest named Tony Woods. This is a 5-8 PPG guy in the post. Why did he leave WF you may ask? He was dismissed after he BROKE THE MOTHER OF HIS BABY'S BACK in a domestic dispute.
Ah, Ricky P and UL. The winning combination.

The Bulldogs are a top 25 DII team. Granted, Indiana played terribly until the last couple minutes, and it is a DII team, but certainly not a bad one. They also have the preseason player of the year in Justin Keenan. However, the man of the night was Victor Oladipo. With under a minute left and IU down four, Oladipo hits a three, is fouled, hits the free throw, and gets a chase down block to send the game into overtime and essentially win the game.

Maya Moore is going off on Baylor, she's got 22 points at the half and UConn has only scored 35. Griner is being shut down, only 6 points.
Yeah the first College Basketball game I'm watching is a women's game. But it's between the number 1 and 2 teams in the nation, and UConn is chasing history.

UConn is one step closer to UCLA's streak. They win by a point, good game. Baylor was down 15 at one point, came back and led at one point by 8.
