55-44 Stanford with 8:21 to go. This might actually happen.

I'm not a UConn fan, but I'm going to laugh when someone (Probably a writer wanting to be famous) out there trashes/makes fun of UConn for losing because those people will be stupid, as they're making fun of a team for losing 1 game after WINNING 90 GAMES IN A ROW!

I see the long national nightmare is over as the UConn women lose a game for the first time in two years to the last team to beat them, Stanford.

And the streak is over. Stanford has defeated UConn 71-59.

Oh that's awesome, spend 2-3 minutes interviewing the LOSING coach first.

Then spend the majority of your interview with the Stanford coach fawning over UConn until she legitimately gets annoyed and has to remind you that HER team just won.

I....I think he might have been saying that with a heavy helping of sarcasm..... There is no context for the sarcasm, the first sentence says how they are toast and then the second sentence says how they are a bunch of losers. Kind of has to be context in the sarcasm for people to at least get it. It sounds more like a trolled statement instead of a actual sarcastic remark.

There doesn't have to be context for it to be sarcastic. Hell, that was more or less what I was going to post, except I was going to add one of these things ( ) at the end.

You are just reading it the wrong way.

If there were any hint like a face or a statement like "Oh No..........UConn is TOAST" or "After 90 straight wins, UConn is TOAST" and then the second statement. Then that would be a perfect form of sarcasm and I would have gotten it. For me, it was a failure at sarcasm and by the way it is written, there was no sarcasm.

Earlier this year UK and UL turned in to Basketbrawl 2010. They're about to square off again at Noon on CBS. Should be a barn burner.

American beat Delaware last night and won the Cable Car championship.
Nine wins marks the most non-conference victories for the Eagles in almost 30 years. Oh and count me in as celebrating Uconn losing (especially after Gino pretty much called all men chauvinists for not "caring.")
