Damn shame to see Butler ranked down in the late teens.
I mean it is still a good ranking, but come on, give them more credit.
They'll probably make it back to the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 this year, if not another Final 4 run.

I want to see what they do against Louisville in their new place. UL is going to be TERRIBLE, so I want to see if they can lay the hammer down on someone they should before I argue their ranking.

Not sure SU is a top 10 team out of the gate maybe top 15, we are probably third best in the Big East, and the polls show that with Pitt and "Nova in front of us. Can't wait to see the continued emergence of Kris Joesph, Rick Jackson, Brandon Triche, and our new center Fab Melo. Could make a run this year, we will see.

I am loving see Pitt as a consensus top 5 team. Hopefully they stay hungry and don't let the preseason ranking go to their heads. With Jamie Dixon as coach, I am sure they'll remain hungry for a deep tournament run. Hopefully this is the year they get over the hump.

I'm not sure what to think about UK yet. Depends on how many games they decide Kanter has to miss. If it's the 6 that is going around now, he'll be back for UNC and the SEC. With him, they're Top 7-8. Without, 15 or so.

Swear I was thinking about starting this today.
Go American Eagles! They were ranked #1 in the preseason coaches poll a few days back for the Patriot Conference: 1. American 2. Bucknell 3. Lafayette 4. Holy Cross 5. Lehigh 6. Navy 7. Colgate 8. Army
Can't wait to see Troy Brewer (who was on last year's Georgia Bulldogs team that won the SEC.) We also have Freshman Tony Wroblicky who was a top 25 center in High School.

This year starts Indiana's climb back to domination. No one is going to want to play us in a year or two. Watch out.

Just as a note, Hanner Perea committed to Indiana today. He is ranked #10/#21 in Scouts/Rivals in the class of 2012. A big pick up for Indiana with the possibility of many more to come (Zeller, Ferrell, Harris, etc.)

Zeller almost sounds like a lock at this point as well. 2012 may finally be IU's year to get back on track.

19th is a nice place to start. Memphis has a lot of talent, but they're very young. If they play to their potential, they have top ten talent.

Honestly, if Zeller comes (which sounds more and more definite every day), I think that Ferrell and Harris both come as well. That makes for a very scary team. That isn't to say that the next two years will be wash outs. I think that Indiana is going to start surprising people this year. Reading through Rivals' Big 10 wrap up, they seemed to almost dismiss Indiana as just "another team". They predicted Indiana finishing 8th, but I think Indiana might do better than that. They aren't world beaters yet, but people forget that Indiana played all of the Big Ten schedule last year without arguably their best player (Mo Creek). Add him and Matt Roth back in, and then add another year to the rest of the team, and people might be in for a surprise.

I always think NCAA BB is better when the Indianas and St. Johns of the world are actually good. Something feels right about it.

Say hello to Oregon's new court: Just like Oregon's football uniforms, it is extremely gaudy, yet at the same time unique and something you'll remember for sure.
