Ravens CB Domonique Foxworth, a member of the former NFLPA's executive committee, says the players are "fine with never being a union again."

So, whats the actual likelihood of a lockout happening? It is happening. The chance of affecting games that matter? Very little. But I could easily see spring camps and maybe even the pre-season affected.

Post your results from The 'Crap's pro day that was held in the back of the local 7-11.
Me, I ran a respectable 7.8 in the 40 and looked good in the throwing drills by hitting on 3 of the 55 throws I attempted.

Before acquiring Charlie Whitehurst last offseason, the Seahawks were reportedly interested in then Bills QB Trent Edwards.

On-topic, I don't think too many people care about the Seahawks choosing Whitehurst over Edwards, except Seahawk fans who are glad they made the right decision. I mean, do you think Seattle would've beaten St. Louis at the end of the regular season with Trent Edwards as the starting QB?

That's terrible new man. Sabol's NFL films on ESPN are probably as big a part of my childhood as watching Primetime or WCW Saturday Night.

From what I heard, there is going to be a season regardless of whether there is a CBA or not. Federal courts will force a season to happen. Something to do with there being no just cause for a lockout or something like that. Ask Mike Francesa about it, its his show I heard about this on.

Something to do with there being no just cause for a lockout or something like that. Ask Mike Francesa about it, its his show I heard about this on. On April 6, there will be a hearing on the players' request for an injunction to block the owners' lockout. The case is scheduled to be heard in front of Judge Susan Richard Nelson in Minnesota, not David Doty, who was the judge who blocked the owners from receiving their TV money, whether there were games played or not. If an injunction blocks the lockout, free agency and games could go forward, and owners would be forced to impose rules governing a season without a collective bargaining agreement. The rules would be similar to last season's, with no salary cap, according to the Washington Post. In that scenario, the players could keep playing and getting paid while also suing the owners under antitrust laws, putting the players in a strong negotiating position.

Also, from what I understand from PFT, since there's no collective bargaining agreement now, the NFL can't suspend Vikings DTs Kevin Williams and Pat Williams and Saints DE Will Smith with regard to the Starcaps case where the Williams Wall have been fighting the suspensions under Minnesota state law.

Two sources with knowledge of the talks tell ESPN's Pat Yasinskas that the Bucs are "the leading candidate" to appear on HBO's Hard Knocks series in 2011 training camp.
The catch, of course, is that there might not be training camp or a preseason due to the NFL lockout
The Bucs will not sign free agent Tiki Barber, according to the Tampa Tribune.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, "word is" the Patriots are already shopping the No. 28 overall pick in the draft.

The owners approved a rule change: kickoffs are being moved back to the 35 yard line from the 30 yard line(since 1994), and touchbacks will stay at the 20 yard line.
Edit: They also made a change to the replay rule: The replay official in the booth must confirm all scoring plays.
2nd Edit: Owners also approved a rule that blocks teams from having a field with a color other than green.

ESPN's Adam Schefter passes along "whispers" from the NFL owners meetings that the 2011 season is now "in peril."
Commissioner Roger Goodell revealed that five teams have already been fined for illegal contact with players during the period before the lockout.
The Dolphins are definitely one of the teams, and the Browns are likely another. Other highlights from Goodell's press conference: The NFL won't enforce the personal conduct policy during the lockout, but arrests will be tracked for delayed discipline. Teams cannot give their draft picks a playbook after they are selected. There has been no discussion among the owners of using replacement players in 2011.

The owners approved a rule change: kickoffs are being moved back to the 35 yard line from the 30 yard line(since 1994), and touchbacks will stay at the 20 yard line. I passionately hate this ruling. The NFL has always said that it was looking to protect the safety of the players while not adversely affecting the play on the field. Well, they did just that with this ruling. They are essentially trying their damndest to eliminate kick returns, because of the slim chance that a player will get injured blocking or tackling on the return. The NFL is eliminating a very exciting, and potentially game-breaking, play under the facade of "protecting the players". Most NFL kickers have the ability to blast the ball 70 yards, and that's precisely what every NFL coach will tell their kickers: blast it out of the back of the end zone. Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski routinely kicked the ball out of the end zone when the ball was placed at the 30. Now? He's going to get it into the first row behind the end zone. Sorry, Chicago. Your game-breaking returner has been rendered useless. Sorry, Cleveland. Josh Cribbs is now exclusively a wide receiver. If this rule were in effect this year, there's no way that the Jets would have advanced past the Colts in this year's playoffs. Antonio Cromartie's kick return to the Jets' 46 is the reason why New York was able to drive down the field and win the game. They started with great field position. If this rule were in effect, the Colts would have just kicked it out of the end zone and the Jets would have been screwed. Why not just eliminate kick returns all together and just spot the ball at the 20 and make it "losers walk"? Why not just eliminate punt returns, which are equally as "dangerous" and just determine that the team will get the ball whenever it stops rolling after it's been punted? Why not just say that there's no passing over the middle, and that any pass inside the hash marks is illegal? The NFL is softening it's product, and it's doing so one dumb rule at a time.
