Paul Blake, Andre Krimm and Jarvis Edison of the Armadillo teams from the early 90s never came into the NFL. Bring them on.

So why bother locking the players out? It's a negotiating tactic. It forces the players to go off site and pay for their own rehab. Stops the players from getting paid. Keeps them completely away from coaches etc. Allows the owners to start a new season with "scabs" if they truly wanted to. The owners want more money, and this is the way they are trying to force the players hand. Were talking about a fight between BILLIONAIRES AND MILLIONAIRES here. I seriously doubt the season will be interrupted, but MLB did have to cancel a World Series due to labor, NBA was shortened to a 50 game schedule down from 82, and in 1987 the NFL actually went with replacement players for part of the season.

whats the main difference between a lockout and strike? Lockout is the owners stopping play. A strike is the players.

Not sure if this was posted or not, but here's Mike Mayock's Top 32 players in the draft.
I hope he's right about us drafting Marcell Dareus, that kid is going to tear it up for whoever drafts him. There are a lot of people comparing him and Fairley, and I think Fairley's good but Dareus is something else.

If you want to simplify it like that, then all you are is a fan complaining about something provided to him for free every year taking a short hiatus.

Citing both players and owners sources, the Washington Post reports that the 2011 NFL season would likely be played with no salary cap if the players succeed in ending the owners' lockout.
The system would reportedly be similar to how the 2010 season was played, with all players who were tendered as restricted free agents, and franchise and transition tagged continuing on their one-year contracts. Thus, all those RFA tenders that were assigned in late February would be upheld. The NFL would reportedly stay uncapped because the system in place "might have a better chance of withstanding an antitrust challenge by the players." The union already agreed to these rules once. The players expect a court ruling on the injunction of the lockout "within three to four weeks."
